Therefore this comprehensive literature review was conducted to analyze the investigations of previous researchers and identify how marketing strategies; Visual Merchandising, Premium Pricing and Ethnocentrism are effectively used in different industries within the Sri Lankan context. The first part of this study move with the introduction to the aforementioned three strategies and the second part is developed through previous scholars studies as; Visual Merchandising related to supermarkets, fashion apparel and FMCGs, Premium pricing related to organic vegetables, organic rice, dairy products, tea products and green products and ethnocentrism related to handloom, skincare products and milk powder industry. Finally, the conclusion discusses the applicability of adopted strategies to the marketing activities as well as recommendations for the future improvements of those industries.
