Ferreiro sobre o desenvolvimento da escrita numa Classe especial de uma Escola Estadual da Grande Sao Paulo. E uma proposta educacional, como alternativa para a alfabetizacao de deficientes mentais leves. Nao se pretende propor nem uma nova metodologia, nem uma nova classificacao de problemas de aprendizagem. Nosso proposito foi o de apresentar uma pratica pedagogica que nos permitiu introduzir a escrita enquanto objeto de conhecimento e o sujeito da aprendizagem, enquanto sujeito cognoscente, respeitando seu ritmo, bem como suas hipoteses de escrita. A pesquisa foi estruturada no marco de uma teoria construtivista-interacionista do processo alfabetizador, bem como numa concepcao critica e emancipatoria da educacao escolar. Seu contexto deve ser compreendido como uma obra aberta ou seja, um trajeto educacional estruturado a partir de diretrizes teoricamente fundamentadas construindo-se juntamente com o caminhar do professor. Desta forma, a pesquisa teve duas diretizes basicas: a Diretriz Institucional e a Supervisao pedagogica. Por diretriz institucional entendemos o trabalho do professor, peca fundamental, cuja disponibilidade com o projeto dependeu, em larga medida, a eficiencia do mesmo. A supervisao pedagogica, numa concepcao critica de educacao foi concebida como um trabalho pedagogico com o professor e nao sobre ele. Sendo assim, o seu principal instrumento foi a elaboracao do diario de campo do professor. Esse diario foi uma estrategia para o professor objetivar seu cotidiano, mas sem deixar sua subjetividade, possibilitando ao mesmo tempo, a producao de um material capaz de provocar discussoes com a supervisora para um repensar constante da propria pratica que esta em processo ...
