Inspired by the Pareto Principle, which posits that 80% of results come from 20% of efforts, this book redefines traditional approaches to fitness and bodybuilding. Mick leverages years of expertise and research to unveil how applying the 80-20 rule can dramatically enhance your training efficiency, nutritional planning, and overall fitness journey. At the heart of this transformative guide is the principle that smart, focused effort trumps sheer volume and intensity. The book is divided into comprehensive chapters that cover every aspect of bodybuilding, from devising high-efficiency workout plans that prioritize compound exercises to simplifying meal planning and preparation for optimal muscle gain and fat loss. Readers will discover personalized strategies for adjusting training variables, incorporating recovery techniques, and navigating the vast world of supplements. Key Features: Personalized Workout Strategies: Learn how to tailor your workout plan by adjusting volume, intensity, and exercise selection to match your unique goals, preferences, and physical capabilities. It provides practical advice for simplifying meal preparation and ensuring your nutrition supports your bodybuilding goals. Recovery for Sustainable Progress: Understand the critical importance of integrating recovery strategies into your regimen. The book highlights the role of sleep, nutrition, and rest days in enhancing muscle repair, growth, and overall well-being. Advanced Supplementation: Navigate the complex landscape of dietary supplements with a clear understanding of what's essential and what's expendable, ensuring your supplementation strategy complements, rather than complicates, your nutrition plan. Innovative Training Techniques: Explore advanced training techniques such as progressive overload, supersets, dropsets, and periodization to keep your workouts challenging and effective. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: No more slave to the gym but free and tonic with only 4 hours a month Twenty years ago, when I was twenty-one, I enrolled in the gym with all the good intentions. I didn't want to waste time or money on the subscription. So I began to buy all the magazines in the sector at the time. In those days, the internet was not as widespread as it is now.On the glossy pages of those magazines the thought reigned supreme: "more is better". I had greedily read everything there was to read and had memorized the training routines, diet regimens and even the personal habits of all the best champions but I began to hate the gym! After months, my motivation had diminished so much that I began to think seriously about leaving the gym. I thought that if the training three hours a day wasn't enough to cause an increase in my muscle mass, maybe I would have to increase to four hours a day. And it was hard to justify more time at the gym, since I was already tired of my job. If the development of a physique meant giving up on social life, then no, it was not worth it.The cause-effect relationship between intense exercise and muscle growth is supported by the fact that the body has limited capacity. High intensity training must be short and rare. Memorizing the workout routines of muscle magazines didn't make me an expert. For the first time in my life, I listened to someone who took the values of knowledge, reason, logic and science very seriously. At 24, I quickly switched to a high intensity training program and - in just a year and a half - my tired and mediocre physique underwent a radical transformation. The science of bodybuilding begins where all science begins: the recognition of reality, an absolute, undetermined objective flow. That reality and its laws (the laws of physics) are immutable. The High Intensity Workout with the exercise bike with which you can burn fat even when riding only 4 minutes I'm not telling you to lose weight by walking but you can burn fat at home in the shortest time. You will start with just 4 minutes and gradually you will get to a quarter of an hour during a 2 month long program. You will not have to do any more, no less than I will tell you. Now have I been clearer? The book you have under your eyes was made exclusively for those who want to improve their appearance in the most profitable way possible despite the limited time available (or unwillingness). The aerobic training philosophy proposed here is exactly the opposite of what you have usually heard repeated in the gym or read on some industry magazine. Don't be fooled by the authority that various books, sites or magazines have. In a direct way I'm telling you to train a little but well! Lose weight quickly: Training and overtraining The problem is a question of intelligence and experience. Based on my experience and that of those who have trained with me, I don't want you to make our own mistakes. Soon you will understand that the difference is not in the amount of hours spent on the bike but on the quality of the rides.See you on the other side!

Book excerpt: #1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER • The game-changing author of The 4-Hour Workweek teaches you how to reach your peak physical potential with minimum effort. “A practical crash course in how to reinvent yourself.”—Kevin Kelly, Wired Is it possible to reach your genetic potential in 6 months? Sleep 2 hours per day and perform better than on 8 hours? Lose more fat than a marathoner by bingeing? Indeed, and much more. The 4-Hour Body is the result of an obsessive quest, spanning more than a decade, to hack the human body using data science. It contains the collective wisdom of hundreds of elite athletes, dozens of MDs, and thousands of hours of jaw-dropping personal experimentation. From Olympic training centers to black-market laboratories, from Silicon Valley to South Africa, Tim Ferriss fixated on one life-changing question: For all things physical, what are the tiniest changes that produce the biggest results? Thousands of tests later, this book contains the answers for both men and women. It’s the wisdom Tim used to gain 34 pounds of muscle in 28 days, without steroids, and in four hours of total gym time. From the gym to the bedroom, it’s all here, and it all works. You will learn (in less than 30 minutes each): • How to lose those last 5-10 pounds (or 100+ pounds) with odd combinations of food and safe chemical cocktails • How to prevent fat gain while bingeing over the weekend or the holidays • How to sleep 2 hours per day and feel fully rested • How to produce 15-minute female orgasms • How to triple testosterone and double sperm count • How to go from running 5 kilometers to 50 kilometers in 12 weeks • How to reverse “permanent” injuries • How to pay for a beach vacation with one hospital visit And that's just the tip of the iceberg. There are more than 50 topics covered, all with real-world experiments, many including more than 200 test subjects. You don't need better genetics or more exercise. You need immediate results that compel you to continue. That’s exactly what The 4-Hour Body delivers.
