They are a biological weapon that spreads through a bite or other bodily fluid transfer. He calls it project Tithonus, but the other scientists just call them zombies. The zombies aren't the worst thing Aribert's been working on. He's also been testing his parasite on the last known living werewolf. Zombies were bad enough, but a zombie werewolf is a truly horrifying possibility. The mad doctor keeps working and refining his parasite while living like a prisoner inside the compound.
