YN also must demonstrate a working knowledge of pay and allowances, leave procedures, along with maintaining officer and enlisted service records, officer promotions and enlisted advancements. YN must understand the following programs: the officer distribution control report (ODCR) and enlisted distribution verification report (EDVR), casualty assistance calls officer (CACO), social usage and protocol, travel, navy standard integrated personnel system (NSIPS), and individual personnel tempo (ITEMPO). YN also need to have an understanding of working with flag offices.
