This marriage produced nine children, only four reaching adulthood. Includes the Hershey family originally of Switzerland. Members of this family came to America in 1719 and settled in Lancaster Co., Pa. They were Mennonites. Includes family of William Whistler (1805-1890) and his wife, Hannah (1805-1889), both born in Cumberland Co., Pennsylvania.
