In beauty-crazed London, perhaps being talented just isn't enough. Enter Mark Swan, Britain's hottest director. Rugged, reclusive and powerful, everybody wants a piece of him--from studio heads to supermodels. He could be Anna's ticket to the top, but how can she ever hope to snag such a big star? Book excerpt: Big Little Lies meets Class Mom! Executive, wife, and mother of an outgoing first-grader, Sydney Clayton crushes her day-to-day obligations at work but flounders in the cutthroat world of parental politics. She manages to avoid the local drama until she’s faced with an ultimatum: join the Forest River PTA or risk her daughter becoming a social outcast. Sydney reluctantly becomes treasurer, and takes the recently vacated position of the president’s sidekick. If protecting the children’s freedom of speech, one best friend ban at a time, isn’t complicated enough, Sydney and her husband receive an unexpected offer for their house they don’t think they can refuse. Embroiled in the deception and manipulation rife among the elementary school moms, Sydney struggles. Should she sell the home she worked so hard to build in a town where betrayal runs rampant? Or should she stay put to avoid the fallout from uprooting her child? As Sydney focuses on what is best for her daughter, and lets go of her judgments, she finds friendship can develop in very unexpected ways. Warm, witty, and wise, Go On, Girl dramatizes the dilemmas of life in the suburbs and the bonds shared by women. "Hilary Grossman knocked it out of the park with her fourth novel. Go On, Girl is filled with humor and heart." - Meredith Schorr - Best Selling Author of The Boyfriend Swap and The Blogger Girl Series

Book excerpt: In this totally unforgettable sixth book in the Savage Destiny series, a relentless wave of frontier progress forces itself into the lives of Zeke and Abbie Monroe, threatening their many years of abiding love and forcing a separation unlike any other they have experienced. Zeke joins the Cheyenne in their last effort to hold on to the freedom they knew until the white man invaded their pristine domain and destroyed their game, their hunting grounds, their beautiful innocence. Meet the New Dawn is a keenly powerful and poignant story about the last years of Zeke and Abbie Monroe’s life together, and how their love and their passion for each other lingers on into their twilight years as proof that age and the challenges of life cannot dim the love these two share, a love that causes a man and woman to see each other only as the fifteen-year-old girl who once touched a savage older man’s hand over a campfire, a touch that changed both their lives forever. Get out the Kleenex for this powerful read you will never, ever forget! PRAISE: “Power, passion, tragedy, and triumph are Rosanne Bittner’s hallmarks. Again and again, she brings readers to tears.” —Romantic Times “Extraordinary…Bittner’s characters spring to life.” —Publishers Weekly

At one time she was the town’s golden girl, but now she’s a single mom just struggling to make ends meet. She knows she has to find a job, and her first interview is with none other than Luke Stewart, the man who once made her heart beat madly—before she married someone else. Luke has always been the one who made her wonder: What if…? But now she has to convince him she’s worth the risk. Midnight Cravings To police chief Dan Duvall, Beldon’s annual "Rocky Top Chili Cook-Off" is nothing but trouble. It’s always the same story—the locals get rowdy and his sleepy little town gets overrun with tourists—and this year is no exception. This time, though, all Dan’s annoyance seems linked to one visiting New Yorker: the gorgeous and whip-smart Josephine Ross. Dan definitely isn’t looking to have his heart broken by another city girl, but something about Josie has him wondering if it’s time to take his chances.

It is the first step outside your own safe and secure circle, which is rather daunting. So for most of us Going solo is not something which people normally do because let me tell you frankly, I have noticed that a number of my women friends, colleagues and acquaintances consider any sort of traveled to be a bore. Who really wants to undergo the hassle of being a woman all lonesome on her own traveling to a strange country or city? Traveling all alone in your own country or abroad, – you must be joking, DJ. This attitude was rather surprising, because I took travelling alone to be a part and parcel of my own lifestyle, while growing up and I definitely did not have any hassle in picking up my small travelling bag and catching my train, all alone on a long journey, even when I was 15. But then I was just going from one known destination to another known destination. So I did not bother much about the safety aspects, then, because I knew both destinations well. So for me, at that time, Going solo was the rule, and not an exception. But things changed later, while working. It was a different matter altogether. I never knew when the call would come from the top for me to get myself to such and such place by such and such time to attend such and such a meeting or meet XYZ. At that time, I always had a bag packed in a corner because I never knew when I had to drop everything and fly down to all corners of the compass on official duty. Sometimes I had my team of colleagues and juniors with me. Sometimes I was needed to go alone. And half of them just hated the idea of traveling because they were not used to it. Even when tickets, hotel stay, transport and all other facilities were laid out for them, they just did not want to go and see a brand-new place and experience a brand-new culture. How much they have missed out of life. This book is for all those adventurous souls who want to go out somewhere and experience new experiences, but there always daunted by the thought that it is not safe for women to travel anywhere in their own country or outside. And definitely not traveling solo in this world full of crime, and xenophobia. This book is to explode some of those myths. This book is also going to give you lots of useful information about safety tips for women traveling alone, based on my experiences, as well as the experiences of my other peripatetic friends. Also, there are some amusing anecdotes and episodes recounted to me by my well-traveled father, which may not exactly touch on safety, but can touch on some of the experiences that you may face when visiting a new country! So let the adventure begin.

Book excerpt: In this sizzling, exciting novel, four women show that age is just a number by seeking out new forms of pleasure, love, and romance. Whether it’s getting a tattoo, using whips and chains, or preparing dinner in nothing but stilettos, four divas—all best friends and over fifty years old—decide that they need to spice up their love lives. And they’re willing to go to any length to achieve that. So Emma, Queenie, Yolanda, and Connie set out to get the pleasure they crave. For Emma, that means rekindling her sex life with her doting husband, whom she decides to take care of for once. Yolanda, who is still turning heads and could have anyone she wants, finally meets a man who suits her tastes—but can she suit his? Queenie, who is fifty-eight and divorced, entertains her on-again, off-again male friend one night when he’s lucky enough to get his hands on some Viagra. And Connie, who has never been married, is in love with a man who won’t put a ring on her finger. Will she be able to convince him to marry her, or, more importantly, does she even want that herself? As things start heating up, the ladies’ lives get sexier...and more complicated. Soon, the four divas soon face more drama than they bargained for...
