This compilation from respected scholars and experts spans topics from “The Mathematical Creation and the Image of God” to “The Glorious Dance of Binary Stars” and “God’s Invisible Attributes—Black Holes.” Contributors include Dr. William Lane Craig, Dr. Guillermo Gonzalez, Dr. Melissa Cain Travis, and Dr. Michael Ward. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In her latest book, What the Heavens Declare, Lydia Jaeger provides a detailed analysis of the role of the theistic doctrine of creation in the rise of modern science, with a particular focus on the natural order. As the author explains, despite the common use of the expression "laws of nature" by both scientists and laymen, there is a long-standing tradition of philosophical debate about, and even refusal of, the notion that laws of nature might exist independently of a divine or human mind. This work attempts to account for natural order in harmony with the religious worldview that significantly contributed to the original context in which modern science began: the world seen as the creation of the triune God.

Book excerpt: In "Experiencing God's Love through His Creation", Robert supports the eternal truth of God's love with pictures of stunning sunrises, sunsets as well as with biblical scripture. Despite the recent passing of his grandson, Jeremy Scott Goehl, Robert has been renewed by his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and now looks to the heavens to see God's love being displayed across the South Florida skies. In the book of Psalms, chapter 19 verse 1, the psalmist David declares, "the heavens declare the glory of God". In that same light, Robert has compiled some of his best photos and favorite scripture challenging us to come to Christ, receive His love and take it into the world. Robert's desire is that you'll come away with a deeper understanding of this never-ending love. Despite our circumstances, may we stop and reflect on His goodness, giving Him the glory He rightly deserves!

Book excerpt: Long millenniums ago, God said, "Let there be light!" With that command a universe of raging infernos called stars came into existence, and have been transferring their energies into limitless energy-containing systems ever since. These "signs" or "Stars" were designed as a pictorial presentation of the great plan and processes of God in creation and redemption--. Are there indeed "pictures" in the heavens?Mazzaroth is a Hebrew word which means THE CONSTELLATIONS OF THE ZODIAC! Blessed be God! the scriptures are not silent concerning the antiquity and authenticity of the Zodiac and its constellations. And God did not leave it to others to speak for Him--He authenticated them Himself. Long before the mysteries of Babylon, the myths of ancient Greece, or the gods and goddesses of the pagans, God almighty, omniscient and immutable acknowledged His glorious plan and power set forth in the heavens!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the central themes of inquiry for Karl Barth, the twentieth-century Protestant theologian, was the notion of revelation. Although he was suspicious of natural theology (i.e. the seeking of evidence for God’s existence in the ordered structure of the world), recent scientific advances (notably in physics and cosmology) and the flourishing modern dialogue between science and religion offer compelling reasons to revisit Barth’s thinking on the concept. We must again ask whether and how it might be possible to hold together the notion of revelation whilst employing reason and scientific evidence in the justification of belief. In The Heavens Declare, author Rodney Holder re-examines Barth’s natural theology argument and then explores how it has been critiqued and responded to by others, starting with Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Wolfhart Pannenberg. Holder then considers the contributions of two notable British participants in the science-religion dialogue, Thomas Torrance and Alister McGrath, who, despite their repudiation of natural theology in the traditional sense, also provide many positive lessons. The book concludes by defending an overall position which takes into account the ideas of the aforementioned theologians as well as others who are currently engaged positively in natural theology, such as John Polkinghorne and Richard Swinburne. Holder’s new study is sure to be of interest to theologians, philosophers of religion, and all scholars interested in the science-religion dialogue, especially those interested in natural theology as an enterprise in itself.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The twelve signs of the Zodiac are as old as civilization itself. Yet their origin has puzzled historians. The Bible attributes the "Mazzaroth" (12 signs of the Zodiac) to God. King David wrote that a special Divine message has been heralded to all people of every language in the sky -- as the sun moves through the twelve "houses." MYSTERY of the MAZZAROTH decodes the pictorial message of the Zodiac, showing that it contains the same language of prophetic symbols found in the Bible. The Mazzaroth and the Bible contain the same prophetic story -- Israel's history written in advance. This story begins with God's covenant with Abraham and ends with its ultimate fulfillment -- the Messiah's Kingdom. Previous Christian attempts to decode the Zodiac were all based on the linguistic work of Francis Rolleston. Her theory has been thoroughly debunked. This book presents a completely new approach. Never before has the sequence of Zodiac signs been understood in light of Bible prophecy, telling the sequential story of Israel's history and redemption. This book will open your eyes to a powerful reason to believe that God exists, and that the Creator is the same God who appeared to Abraham.
