I'd always just assumed he was an invisible and distant being in the sky that was simply there to watch over me and listen to my prayers whenever I was sad or scared. I didn't really know that much about God or where He came from or even consider the fact that He wanted to be close to me. So I'd like to just say, if you already know Jesus as you read this, then this is just a book about a girl who'd been really lost, thought prayer was something you reserved only for desperate times when there was nowhere else to turn but God, and waited until she was forty-six years old to figure it out, repent, and finally accept Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and devote the rest of her life to God.Eight months have now passed since I was saved and began my walk with God. The decision was not planned. And while I've learned a lot in my journey so far, I still have a lot to learn.
