A grandson, William Thornton Hope Hooper (b.1917), married (1) Wilma Grant and (2) Virginia Sharp in 1957, and had three sons by the second marriage. Descendants and relatives lived in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Kentucky and elsewhere. Hooper ancestors lived in England and are shown back to the late 1700s. Sharp ancestors and relatives lived in Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, Pennsylvania and elsewhere.
