Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: WAS HE THE VOICE OF 'DOOM' OR THE SOOTHSAYER OF THE SPACE GENERATION? NASA REPORTER OTTO BINDER ASKED THESE PERPLEXING QUESTIONS? Have We Been Sent-And Ignored-Messages From Spacemen? Do The Saucer Intelligences Control Our Weather, Our Civilizations, Our Very Lives With Their Incredible Advanced Science? Has One Man, TED OWENS, Really Been Selected To "Relay" Their Warnings And Predictions? DO WE HAVE IN OUR MIDST A 'SPOKESMAN' FOR THE UFOS? ================================================================ When the original edition of HOW TO CONTACT SPACE PEOPLE appeared in l969 courtesy of Gray Barker's Saucerian Press, hundreds reported "miracles" and supernatural experiences upon carrying or wearing one of the special "Space Intelligence" discs that were provided by Ted Owens . We are producing a similar disc based on the identical design and will include details how you can get one for yourself FREE OF CHARGE as a bonus when ordering this fabulous volume. Says one researcher who calls himself simply "Jinn" and believes the UFOs are extra dimensional: "Many people who investigated Ted Owens testified that he could predict and control lightning, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes and volcanoes. He claimed he was in telepathic contact with other dimensional beings he called Space Intelligences who trained him since early childhood to communicate with them and co-create tremendous large scale psychokinetic effects. . . Ted Owens could be the greatest parapsychological finds in history. He performed about 200 "miracles" in association with the SI's. . . and considered himself to be the "Earth ambassador of UFO intelligences" and compared himself to Moses, whom he said also worked with the SI's." Some people thought Owens delusional; others believed something dramatic had happened in his life to cause these telekinetic events to occur around him regularly. Decide for yourself when you order HOW TO CONTACT THE SPACE PEOPLE and learn how at no additional cost you can receive your own energized purple SI disc, an authentic replica of the one Ted Owens claims he used to contact the space intelligence himself without interference.
Book Synopsis The Public Space of Social Media by : Therese Tierney
Download or read book The Public Space of Social Media written by Therese Tierney and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2013-08-29 with total page 189 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Social media is restructuring urban practices–through ad-hoc experimentation, commercial software development, and communities of participation. This book is the first to consider how practices contained within social media are situated within a larger genealogy of public space, including theories of communal identity, civitas and democracy, the fete, and self-expression. Through empirical research, the actual social practices of participants of networked publics are described and analyzed. Documenting how online counterpublics use the Internet to transmit classified photos, mobilize activists, and challenge the status quo, Tierney argues that online activities do not stop in online conversations; they are physically grounded through mobile GPS coordinates which are then transformed into activities in physical space—the street, the plaza, the places where people have traditionally gathered to demonstrate and express their opinions publicly.
Book Synopsis Extraterrestrials and the American Zeitgeist by : Aaron John Gulyas
Download or read book Extraterrestrials and the American Zeitgeist written by Aaron John Gulyas and published by McFarland. This book was released on 2013-05-11 with total page 261 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Since the 1950s, men and women around the world have claimed to have had contact with human-like visitors from space. This book explores how the "contactee" subculture has critiqued political, social and cultural trends in the United States, Europe and elsewhere. Not merely quaint relics of the 1950s Atomic Age, contactees have continued their messages of transformation into the 21st century. Regardless of whether these alleged contacts took the form of physical meetings or channeled paranormal psychic communications, or whether they actually happened at all, contactees have provided a consistently relevant source of commentary on this world and beyond.
Book Synopsis Biologically Inspired Approaches to Advanced Information Technology by : Auke Jan Ijspeert
Download or read book Biologically Inspired Approaches to Advanced Information Technology written by Auke Jan Ijspeert and published by Springer. This book was released on 2004-10-11 with total page 527 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The evolution of the Internet has led us to the new era of the information infrastructure. As the information systems operating on the Internet are getting larger and more complicated, it is clear that the traditional approaches based on centralized mechanisms are no longer meaningful. One typical example can be found in the recent growing interest in a P2P (peer-to-peer) computing paradigm. It is quite different from the Web-based client-server systems, which adopt essentially centralized management mechanisms. The P2P computing environment has the potential to overcome bottlenecks in Web computing paradigm, but it introduces another difficulty, a scalability problem in terms of information found, if we use a brute-force flooding mechanism. As such, conventional information systems have been designed in a centralized fashion. As the Internet is deployed on a world scale, however, the information systems have been growing, and it becomes more and more difficult to ensure fau- free operation. This has long been a fundamental research topic in the field. A complex information system is becoming more than we can manage. For these reasons, there has recently been a significant increase in interest in biologically inspired approaches to designing future information systems that can be managed efficiently and correctly.
