We learned how to handle harsh criticism, humiliation, failure, and adversity, all while learning self-discipline, respect, and how to carry ourselves with integrity. Did we goof off along the way? You're damn right we did, because the Academy was a place that allowed boys to be boys, but as a result, it taught us how to be men.
