Learning aliens exist was freaky enough, let alone being chased and imprisoned by her own paranoid government. Then her baby sister decided to go live on a foreign planet, and her dad was nearly killed by a missile strike. It was enough to bring her to her knees. Aculus, a bone-armored warrior, proved to be her lifeline. He saved her more than once, and assured her he had the ability to heal her dad on his home world. Aculus even reunited her with the sister she thought died in a plane crash. Putting up with the hopeless flirt and total bonehead as they traveled across the cosmos was a small price to pay for such miracles. When Aculus met the delicate beauty, she was wounded and afraid, instantly inciting his protective side. But Nadzia swiftly put him in his place, making him laugh with her spirited retorts. Then he discovered she was the only one who could strip away his armor, revealing the male within. He should've been overjoyed to find the female every Osivoire male hunts for, his weakness; except the timing couldn't be worse. Nadzia was courageous, but she'd need more than her brazen wit to survive, if the Conclave discovered she was his mate. Somewhere between Earth and Osi, amidst their sarcastic banter, Nadzia falls in love with Aculus. Is she brave enough to take a chance on love? Can she prove to Aculus and everyone else she's more than some weak human? To hold onto the man she loves, Nadzia will have to dig deep and unleash her inner warrior. Book excerpt: A trick of magic, a twist of fate. As the orphaned nephew of the king, trusted companion to his cousin, and second heir to the throne of Skala, Prince Tobin’s future is clear. But not as clear as the spring in which a hill witch shows him his true face--and his secret destiny.... Now Tobin carries a burden he cannot share with even his closest friend, Ki, his squire. He is to rule--not as he is but as he was born: a woman. Given the shape of a boy by dark magic, Tobin is the last hope of the people of Illior--those who desperately seek a return to the old ways, when Skala was ruled by a line of warrior queens. They still believe that only a woman can lift the war, famine, and pestilence that have run rampant through the land since the king usurped his half sister’s throne. It is these outlaw wizards and witches who protect Tobin--and it is for them that Tobin must accept his fate. With the unsuspecting yet fiercely loyal Ki at his side, Tobin must turn traitor against the only blood ties he has left. He must lift the masks of Skala’s rulers to show their true colors--before he can reveal the power of the woman within himself.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The phrase Red Power, coined by Clyde Warrior (1939–1968) in the 1960s, introduced militant rhetoric into American Indian activism. In this first-ever biography of Warrior, historian Paul R. McKenzie-Jones presents the Ponca leader as the architect of the Red Power movement, spotlighting him as one of the most significant and influential figures in the fight for Indian rights. The Red Power movement arose in reaction to centuries of oppressive federal oversight of American Indian peoples. It comprised an assortment of grassroots organizations that fought for treaty rights, tribal sovereignty, self-determination, cultural preservation, and cultural relevancy in education. A cofounder of the National Indian Youth Council, Warrior was among the movement’s most prominent spokespeople. Throughout the 1960s, he blazed a trail of cultural and political reawakening in Indian Country, using a combination of ultranationalistic rhetoric and direct-action protest. McKenzie-Jones uses interviews with some of Warrior’s closest associates to delineate the complexity of community, tradition, culture, and tribal identity that shaped Warrior’s activism. For too many years, McKenzie-Jones maintains, Warrior’s death at age twenty-nine overshadowed his intellect and achievements. Red Power has been categorized as an American Indian interpretation of Black Power that emerged after his death. This groundbreaking book brings to light, however, previously unchronicled connections between Red Power and Black Power that show the movements emerging side by side as militant, urgent calls for social change. Warrior borrowed only the slogan as a metaphor for cultural and community integrity. Descended from hereditary chiefs, Warrior was immersed in Ponca history and language from birth. McKenzie-Jones shows how this intimate experience, and the perspective gained from participating in powwows, summer workshops, and college Indian organizations, shaped Warrior’s intertribal approach to Indian affairs. This long-overdue biography explores how Clyde Warrior’s commitment to culture, community, and tradition formed the basis for his vision of Red Power.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book documents my unique, firsthand experiences as a spiritual warrior for the Lord Jesus Christ. For the past fifteen years, I have been battling evil entities in the spiritual realm, and thanks to the Lord, I have successfully overcome them. To begin, the Lord had to teach me how to enter the spiritual dimension and travel outside of my physical body. This book details my becoming a spiritual warrior of the Lord. The Lord called me to my mission in 1984 when I was visited by the Blessed Mother, who gave me the Lord's graces and blessings and awakened me to my spirituality. Since then, the Holy Spirit has guided me, increasing my acceptance that I had a special gift. As a truly charismatic Christian, I have been blessed with the miraculous gift of being groomed by the Holy Spirit to fight spiritual battles on behalf of those whom the Lord has guided to me. The Holy Spirit has taught me how to fight these battles not in the physical world but in the spiritual realm of our Lord. Through this miracle, I have traveled to the stars and beyond, to far distant planets, and to other dimensions outside of our galaxy to do the work of our Lord. This book documents my fifteen years of experience as a spiritual warrior. In a world full of ever-increasing reports about people who have had spiritual encounters, I have experienced life after death, and as a warrior, I have personally battled evil entities. In 2014, I received a message from the Lord that instead of visiting people in their homes to pray for them, I needed to write a book on my spiritual battles. By writing the book, it would enable me to help not just hundreds of people but literally thousands throughout the world. I believe our salvation depends on having a deep awareness and understanding of our spirituality. People also need to connect with their spiritual side in order to become successful and fulfilled in life. We all want to live life to the fullest. This book will help the reader to accept the Lord's blessings and the Lord's graces, unlocking the secrets of your spirituality. It will give people hope and increase their faith.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The transition between the reality of war and a hope for peace has accompanied the Jewish people since biblical times. However, the ways in which both concepts are understood have changed many times over the ages, and both have different implications for an independent nation in its own land than they do for a community of exiles living as a minority in foreign countries. This book explores the concepts of war and peace throughout the history of Judaism. Combining three branches of learning - classical Jewish sources, from the Bible to modern times; related academic disciplines of Jewish studies, humanities, social and political sciences; and public discussion of these issues on political, military, ideological and moral levels - contributors from Israel and the USA open new vistas of investigation for the future as well as an awareness of the past. Chapters touch on personal and collective morality in warfare, survival though a long and often violent history, and creation of some of the world’s great cultural assets, in literature, philosophy and religion, as well as in the fields of community life and social autonomy. An important addition to the current literature on Jewish thought and philosophy, this book will be of considerable interest to scholars working in the areas of Jewish Studies, theology, modern politics, the Middle East and biblical studies.

With this enigmatic invitation, the Traveler finds himself swept into a world that is completely alien, yet strangely familiar. He is told that he will be returning home, yet this new world is inhabited by elves, trolls, and centaurs. Everything has changed! Magic, mysticism, and superstition seem to hold more power here than logic and rationality. And a disturbing truth emerges; human history is being deliberately rewritten to disguise an invasion by rebels from another dimension intent upon harnessing humanity to their will. Opposing them is the sovereign government from this same dimension, whose leadership will not become directly involved in the struggle on Earth. Humans must be recruited, then trained to resist this ominous distortion of history. Given the assistance of two extraordinary companions and a magical pendant, the Traveler is told to recover an item lost in the conflict since antiquity, an integral part of a much more powerful mechanism, the First Jewel of Earth. You will find yourself challenged to place this book within conventional categories. Is this fiction, fantasy, or prophecy? Is this story set in the distant past or the emerging future? Is it possible that two alien forces have been struggling for control of human history since the beginning of time? Join the Traveler in pursuing this quest. Like him, your reality will be forever changed!
