Book excerpt: In 21st century consumers attract to marketing strategies used by producers than the availability of product attributes and features. Therefore, this prospective conceptual paper was designed to identify the previous scholar's investigations on how Visual Merchandising(VM), Price Premium (PP) and Ethnocentrism use as a marketing strategy for different industries. This current study has been more consider on Sri Lankan context. Moreover, some global context also considered by the researcher. This paper is divided into three sections. The first part deals with introduction on VM, PP and ethnocentrism. The second part deals with the investigation of previous scholars as follows. Previous scholars work for VM strategy in different industries as supermarkets, fashion apparel, food retailing, gold, furniture and electronic; Previous scholars work for PP strategy in different industries as organic foods, water supply, tourism sector, hotels and tea industry; Previous scholars work for ethnocentrism strategy in different industries as FMCG goods, milk powder, dairy products and handloom products. Moreover, the third part of the study deals with the concluding part with identifying the common factors effecting to each strategy.
