Schließlich geht sie auf die verschiedenen Klassifikationen von Verhaltensstörungen ein und befasst sich mit der Frage, wie Verhaltensstörungen entstehen. Dabei werden kurz sechs wissenschaftliche Modelle der Pädagogik bei Verhaltensstörungen vorgestellt. Danach wird kurz auf die Prävention, also Vorbeugung von Verhaltensstörungen eingegangen, ehe die verschiedene Interventionsmöglichkeiten vorgestellt werden. Die Hausarbeit schließt mit einem Fazit ab.

Die Medien sind überfüllt mit Berichten über gewalttätige Kinder und Jugendliche. Aufgrund des steigenden gesellschaftlichen Interesses möchte ich mich mit der Gewalt bei Kindern und Jugendlichen auseinandersetzen. Ist ein Kind gewalttätig, wird zuerst kritisch das Erziehungsverhalten der Eltern hinterfragt. Aus diesem Grund wird in der vorliegenden Praxisarbeit untersucht, ob allein durch eine gute Erziehung eine Verringerung von Gewalt erreicht werden kann. Zur Beantwortung dieser Frage werde ich mit den unterschiedlichen Begriffsbestimmungen von Gewalt beginnen. Ebenso wird der Begriff der Aggression erklärt, da dieser in direktem Zusammenhang zur Gewalt steht. Im anschließenden Schwerpunkt werden die Ursachen von Gewalt vorgestellt und erläutert. Ich habe aus einer Vielzahl möglicher Ursachen vier ausgewählt, welche meiner Meinung nach für die Kinder der Heilpädagogischen Wohngruppe am ehesten zutreffend sind. In diesem Gliederungspunkt wird folgende These untersucht: „Gewalt entsteht durch verschiedene negative Einflüsse der Umwelt“. Abschließenden Schwerpunkt bilden die Gewaltpräventions- und Interventionsmöglichkeiten, mit Hauptaugenmerk auf die „richtige“ Erziehung.
