Book excerpt: Une méthode de planification décentralisée coordonnée est proposée pour l'optimisation globale des tournées de transport de marchandises réalisées par des transporteurs indépendants travaillant sur un réseau urbain commun. L'objectif est de mieux distribuer les mouvements des véhicules utilitaires sur les éléments du réseau de façon à éviter les problèmes de congestion tout en cherchant à ce que les solutions résultantes soient économiques pour les transporteurs. Plusieurs formulations du problème sont proposées. Elles peuvent être classées en deux familles. Dans chaque famille, plusieurs tentatives de modélisation du problème de transport chez les différents transporteurs sont données (problèmes de tournées sur les nœuds et problèmes de tournées sur les arcs). Les deux familles donnent des programmes mathématiques linéaires de grande taille et en nombres entiers. Un algorithme de résolution basé sur le principe des techniques de Branch-and-Price est élaboré. Il combine les techniques de génération de colonnes avec les techniques de Branch-and-Bound pour l'obtention de solutions entières optimales. Une méthode heuristique inspirée de ces techniques pour une recherche facile et rapide de très bonnes solutions entières a été également développée. Une maquette informatique a été réalisée, elle contient plusieurs programmes et sous programmes écrits en langage C, une modélisation réalisée avec le langage de modélisation GAMS faisant appel au solveur OSL et des scripts écrits avec l'interpréteur de commandes C-Shell. Les expérimentations réalisées ont permis de valider l'intérêt et la faisabilité de l'approche proposée
