Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It's funny how life has a way of changing people. It definitely changed me. I was tooling along day after day, set in my ways, looking at life like a racehorse wearing blinders, oblivious to seeing the world any other way than I knew how, because I ultimately had fashioned my vision of it. I fit myself with the glasses I wore, and I wrote the prescription for the lenses with my attitude, faith, and beliefs. But I got lucky. Parkinson's came along, slapped me upside the head, and knocked my spectacles off of my face. And luckier still, while my glasses were on the ground I inadvertently stepped on them and crushed them into a million pieces. I was blind. I was forced to extend my hands out in front of me to rediscover my world all over again. Taking baby steps with fear in my heart that I would bang my head into a wall. But you know what happened? A miraculous thing took place. My memory of where the important things in my life were took over, and what I valued and needed the most magically appeared for me. Love, friendship, compassion, spirit and purpose. My appreciation for what was at my fingertips was heightened as well. I suddenly discovered a comforting realization that I could continue to succeed in life with less. Less envy, less anger, less anxiety, less fear of old age and death. It was liberating. I was given Parkinson's disease, and my life became better for it. This book is not what most people have come to expect about Parkinson's disease. Tremors in the Universe offers another way. Another way of thinking. Another way of living.

Book excerpt: The relationship between science and theology has been a crisis for humanity since Darwin's publication of Origin of Species that affects the very core of scientific and Biblical truths with serious consequences. In this detailed and absorbing book Dr. Cherian provides astounding facts of science that were deciphered in the last 500 years, each of which is recorded in the Biblical Scriptures. Heeding back to the Biblical account of creation, Dr. Cherian takes the readers from the erroneous notion of the origin of the universe without a cause and abiogenesis as the source of life to the latest scientific discoveries that corroborate the Biblical evidence for divine creation of the universe, life and species that dispel Darwinian evolution. The Origins of the Universe, Life and Species sheds much light for a better understanding of the Scriptures that were hidden to many scientists, researchers and students to relate the scientific discoveries that reveal the Biblical truths for a better appreciation of the unknown God who reveals himself through the many scientists and their discoveries. Dr. Cherian, uses all branches of science from astronomy to zoology connecting the dots between science and theology that stretches from the highest of heavens (outer space) to the deepest of ocean floor revealing the unknown God to be the KNOWN GOD.

Yet far below the black depths of the Pacific a mysterious substance snakes through undiscovered fissures in the ocean floor, as nature itself seems to portend the terror to come. Then, with the sudden, unexpected death of Michael’s friend, a disturbing truth dawns: the corporation that is funding Katherine’s dig has a far greater investment than she ever imagined—an investment in medical terror. And her son may be part of their hideous grand plan. . . . “A suspenseful thriller . . . provocative . . . Nicely done, indeed.”—Kirkus Reviews “Classic Saul . . . A potent brew.”—Publishers Weekly

Book excerpt: "Touches on a dizzying array of subjects, including UV rays, inert gases, fossils, meteorites, microwaves, rainbows . . . Like many a good teacher, Berman uses humor to entertain his audience and liven things up." —Los Angeles Times Bob Berman is motivated by a straightforward philosophy: everyone can understand science—and it's fun, too. In Strange Universe, he pokes into the bizarre and astonishingly true scientific facts that determine the world around us. Geared to the nonscientist, Berman's original essays are filled with the trademark wit and cleverness that has earned him acclaim over many years for his columns in Astronomy and Discover magazines. He emphasizes curiosities of the natural world to which everyone can relate, and dishes on the little-known secrets about space and some of science's biggest blunders (including a very embarrassing moment from Buzz Aldrin's trip to the moon). Fascinating to anyone interested in the wonders of our world and the cosmos beyond, Strange Universe will make you smile and think.
