En el caso de los europeos el cambio que se produce quizá no es el necesario o al menos no tan rápido como lo hacen los norteamericanos. Muchos trabajadores temen a los cambios y, llegado el momento, éstos les superan y, además, hay organizaciones que son más lentas y más difíciles en sus transformaciones. La obra trata estos temas desde la sensibilidad humana que respira la Psicología Social, pero no por ello trata de sustraerse al mundo que nos viene y al que tenemos que anticiparnos.
