Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DESCRIPTION"An autobiographical erotic novel, written by a woman for women.""A story about love and passion, with torrid sex scenes written with special wit."Gema is a common housewife, until she finally gives in to her husband's desires of seeing her with another man. This first book of this series tells the beginning of Gema as hotwife and her husband, Daniel, as a consenting cuckold. After her husband's tiring insistence, Gema, reluctantly, accepts to flirt with a strange in a disco. Her only goal is to teach Daniel a lesson, convinced that he will back off in the last moment. But what was going to be a mere flirt, or at most, a single one-night-stand, soon turns into a full-fledged, romantic affaire. Gema has difficulties separating the passion she feels for her lover from the love she feels for her husband. She has trouble making loyalty and consensual infidelity compatible. Meantime, as her lover manages to step by step remove her sexual inhibitions, his influence over her increases. Gema starts doing things for her lover that she would not do for her husband. As the story goes, Gema evolves. However, she continues having to deal with a set of opposed feeling that endanger her marriage. On top of that, she ends up promising something to her lover, which will have unforeseen consequences. At the same time, Daniel undergoes his own evolution and must deal with his own inhibitions. "My husband, my real husband in my real life, has been pressing me for years to cuckold him, quite like Gema's husband in the book. I resisted for years, until I finally gave in. I wished I had done it before, but fear and lack of knowledge about this world stopped me from doing it earlier. Unfortunately, there isn't much erotic literature out there about the world of consensual infidelity, which is appropriate for women. We women need, above all, a context for sex, a setting, the evolution of the actors, so that we can identify ourselves with them. For that reason, I have decided to share my own experiences as a hotwife in the format of an erotic novel, based on my own life. Join me and Gema in discovery of a new significance for love, fidelity and passion! Join us in this sexual exploration that questions the usual precepts of our society!" BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR Gemma V. Avril was born in 1977. She is mother, is married, and lives in Madrid. A few years ago, she decided to give in to her husband's cuckold fantasies and initiated an affair with another man. That was her first step into the hotwife lifestyle. She started to write her experiences under gemaesposacaliente.blogspot.com. Encouraged by her followers, she decided to take the step into serious writing, with the hope of sharing her experiences with a broader audience, and of helping couples interested in this lifestyle to take their first step. It is oftentimes women who are afraid of it, and the author hopes that her story will help them to overcome their prejudices. Gemma loves being in contact with her readers and for that reason she started a second blog under gemaesposacaliente.tumblr.com. In that blog, Gemma was telling her current story as a hotwife almost in real-time, in graphical format. Although that blog is temporarily paused, due to the changes in the Tumblr platform, Gema plans to resume it. In the meantime, she continues to respond to question in her Blogspot account.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Roger and Carolyn Perron purchased the home of their dreams and eventual nightmares in December of 1970. The Arnold Estate, located just beyond the village of Harrisville, Rhode Island seemed the idyllic setting in which to raise a family. The couple unwittingly moved their five young daughters into the ancient and mysterious farmhouse. Secrets were kept and then revealed within a space shared by mortal and immortal alike. Time suddenly became irrelevant; fractured by spirits making their presence known then dispersing into the ether. The house is a portal to the past and a passage to the future. This is a sacred story of spiritual enlightenment, told some thirty years hence. The family is now somewhat less reticent to divulge a closely-guarded experience. Their odyssey is chronicled by the eldest sibling and is an unabridged account of a supernatural excursion. Ed and Lorraine Warren investigated this haunting in a futile attempt to intervene on their behalf. They consider the Perron family saga to be one of the most compelling and significant of a famously ghost-storied career as paranormal researchers. During a seance gone horribly wrong, they unleashed an unholy hostess; the spirit called Bathsheba; a God-forsaken soul. Perceiving herself to be the mistress of the house, she did not appreciate the competition. Carolyn had long been under siege; overt threats issued in the form of firea mother's greatest fear. It transformed the woman in unimaginable ways. After nearly a decade the family left a once beloved home behind though it will never leave them, as each remains haunted by a memory. This tale is an inspiring testament to the resilience of the human spirit on a pathway of discovery: an eternal journey for the living and the dead.

Looking at the entire war in the Mediterrean, the volume examines the war from the viewpoint of all the important participants, making full use of archives and manuscript collections in Britain, France, Italy, Germany, Austria and the United States. A fascinating mosaic of campaigns emerges in the Adriatic, Straits of Otranto and the Eastern Aegean. The German assistance to the tribes of Libya, the threat that Germany would get her hands on the Russian Black Sea Fleet and use it in the Mediterreanean, and the appearance and influence of the Americans in 1918 all took place against a background of rivalry between the Allies which frustrated the appointment of Jellicoe in 1918 as supreme command at sea in a role similar to that of Foch on land.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The culmination of a lifetime's scholarly work, this pioneering study by Sister Prudence Allen traces the concept of woman in relation to man in Western thought from ancient times to the present. Volume I uncovers four general categories of questions asked by philosophers for two thousand years. These are the categories of opposites, of generation, of wisdom, and of virtue. Sister Prudence Allen traces several recurring strands of sexual and gender identity within this period. Ultimately, she shows the paradoxical influence of Aristotle on the question of woman and on a philosophical understanding of sexual coomplemenarity. Supplemented throughout with helpful charts, diagrams, and illustrations, this volume will be an important resource for scholars and students in the fields of women's studies, philosophy, history, theology, literary studies, and political science. In Volume 2, Sister Prudence Allen explores claims about sex and gender identity in the works of over fifty philosophers (both men and women) in the late medieval and early Renaissance periods. Touching on the thought of every philosopher who considered sex or gender identity between A.D. 1250 and 1500, The Concept of Woman provides the analytical categories necessary for situating contemporary discussion of women in relation to men. Adding to the accessibility of this fine discussion are informative illustrations, helpful summary charts, and extracts of original source material (some not previously available in English). In her third and final volume Allen covers the years 1500--2015, continuing her chronological approach to individual authors and also offering systematic arguments to defend certain philosophical positions over against others.

This book was released on 2022-08-26 with total page 482 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Scott L. Mingus Sr. and Eric J. Wittenberg, the authors of more than forty Civil War books, have once again teamed up to present a history of the opening moves of the Gettysburg Campaign in the two-volume study “If We Are Striking for Pennsylvania”: The Army of Northern Virginia and the Army of the Potomac March to Gettysburg. This compelling study is one of the first to integrate the military, media, political, social, economic, and civilian perspectives with rank-and-file accounts from the soldiers of both armies as they inexorably march toward their destiny at Gettysburg. This first installment covers June 3–21, 1863, while the second, spanning June 22–30, completes the march and carries the armies to the eve of the fighting. Gen. Robert E. Lee began moving part of his Army of Northern Virginia from the Old Dominion toward Pennsylvania on June 3, 1863. Lee believed his army needed to win a major victory on Northern soil if the South was to have a chance at winning the war. Transferring the fighting out of war-torn Virginia would allow the state time to heal while he supplied his army from untapped farms and stores in Maryland and the Keystone State. Lee had also convinced Pres. Jefferson Davis that his offensive would interfere with the Union effort to take Vicksburg in Mississippi. The bold movement would trigger extensive cavalry fighting and a major battle at Winchester before culminating in the bloody three-day battle at Gettysburg. As the Virginia army moved north, the Army of the Potomac responded by protecting the vital roads to Washington, D.C., in case Lee turned to threaten the capital. Opposing presidents Abraham Lincoln and Jefferson Davis, meanwhile, kept a close watch on the latest and often conflicting military intelligence gathered in the field. Throughout northern Virginia, central Maryland, and south-central Pennsylvania, meanwhile, civilians and soldiers alike struggled with the reality of a mobile campaign and the massive logistical needs of the armies. Thousands left written accounts of the passage of the long martial columns. Mingus and Wittenberg mined hundreds of primary accounts, newspapers, and other sources to produce this powerful and gripping account. As readers will quickly learn, much of it is glossed over in other studies of the campaign, which cannot be fully understood without a firm appreciation of what the armies (and civilians) did on their way to the small crossroads town in Pennsylvania.
