Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This Book as well as all other books and manuscripts, published or yet unpublished, written by the author, began after a dream experience in which I was encouraged to write. At that time, it didn’t seem possible that I could do such a thing. However, after other inner and outer experiences having taken place, the process of writing began. Although, at first, I wasn’t sure of what I would be writing about, for the writings were somehow inspired. One dream experience, of which one is not likely to forget, is the one where a being of an higher inner realm whispered in my ear, saying, “you are chosen.” But what for? I wasn’t sure at that time. Another similar dream was one in which I was given the WORD to bring back. Again, at that time, I wasn’t sure what that meant. However, after several manuscripts were written and reread by me, things began to fit into place. That is, the dream experiences were becoming a reality. Although the writings must speak for themselves, I feel now that I was chosen to present the WORD, the WORD of the Transonic Consciousness, which is the WORD embracing the realm of the end and the beginning of a cycle of time. The Transonic WORD, then, is the WORD that takes in the harvesting of a previous cycle of time, and the WORD for the beginning of a new cycle of time. Therefore, the WORD is the everlasting WORD, the everlasting gospel, as it were. Inasmuch as the WORD is the everlasting WORD, it is backed by an infinity of beings within the inner and outer realms of being.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered how it might be that God is to walk with the people of God? Have you really contemplated how that God is the all in all, in you all? Have you ever wondered how God can manifest Itself in an infinite number of places at the same time? Just as the peace of God passeth all understanding, and the love of Christ passeth knowledge, the realization of God passeth the understanding and the knowledge of the dual mind. Accordingly, the understanding and the knowledge of the dual mind must cease, as it were, before the realization of God can manifest itself as it is, not just as it might appear to be. That is, the part, as it were, must be done away in order for the whole to manifest itself The realization of God is the outcome of realizing the Christ Consciousness that dwells at the Core of all being; for we know that at the appearing of the Lord, we shall like unto the Lord, for we shall see the Lord as is, not just as the Lord might appear to be. We can now see how that the Christ dwells within all, whether it is realized or not, for to realize the Christ that dwells at the Core of all being is to realize that it has always been there. Therefore, the realization of God is the realization that God has been, is, and shall forever be right where you are, the all in all, in you all. Thus, God is ever walking with the people of God. It is a matter of realizing how that might be. Now is the time for that realization.
Book Synopsis Sacrifice Unveiled by : Robert J. Daly
Download or read book Sacrifice Unveiled written by Robert J. Daly and published by Bloomsbury Publishing. This book was released on 2009-04-13 with total page 277 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most ideas of sacrifice, even specifically Christian ideas, as we saw in the Reformation controversies, have something to do with deprivation or destruction. But this is not authentic Christian sacrifice. Authentic Christian sacrifice, and ultimately all true sacrifice (whether one is conscious of it or not) begins with the self-offering of the Father in the gift-sending of the Son, continues with the loving "response" of the Son, in his humanity, and in the Spirit, to the Father and for us, and finally, begins to become real in our world when human beings, in the power of the same Spirit that was in Jesus, respond to love with love, and thus begin to enter into that perfectly loving, totally self-giving relationship that is the life of the triune God. The origins of this are in the Hebrew Bible, its revelatory high-points in Jesus and Paul, and its working out in the life of the Church, especially its Eucharistic Prayers. Special attention will be paid to the atonement, not just because atonement and sacrifice are often synonymous, but also because traditional atonement theology is the source of distortions that continue to plague Christian thinking about sacrifice. After exploring the possibility of finding a phenomenology of sacrificial atonement in Girardian mimetic theory, the book will end with some suggestions on how to communicate its findings to people likely to be put off from the outset by the negative connotations associated with "sacrifice."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Church of the Firstborn presents a new revelation as to what the church really is. Throughout past history, the dwelling place of God has been presented as a tent, a tabernacle, a temple until it was realized that the dwelling place of God is the body of man. This is where the Church of the Firstborn of the new revelation begins the expansion of consciousness as to what the church is, was, and ever shall be, which is not what anyone might have imagined it to be.

Book Synopsis The Paradox of Christian Sacrifice by : Erin Lothes Biviano
Download or read book The Paradox of Christian Sacrifice written by Erin Lothes Biviano and published by Herder & Herder. This book was released on 2007 with total page 308 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sacrifice is at the heart of Christian wisdom about love. Jesus' teaching that one must "lose one's life to save it" reveals a paradoxical relationship between self-sacrifice and self-realization. The invitation to imitate Jesus Christ, and to give of oneself to other, inspires great acts of love. Yet the veneration of sacrifice for its own sake can validate painful losses that are no longer life-giving. Faced with such ambiguities, and struggling to discern the boundaries of giving, Christians need a new interpretation of the symbol of sacrifice. The Paradox of Christian Sacrifice explores a revised understanding of authentic sacrifice in terms of dedication to others for the reign of God. Sacrificial self-giving becomes a means to Christian identity-a paradoxical way to find life in the fullest. Ultimately, sacrificial love is not only an imitation of the cross, but an image of the creativity of God. Book jacket.
Book Synopsis Ritual Sacrifice by : Brenda Ralph Lewis
Download or read book Ritual Sacrifice written by Brenda Ralph Lewis and published by . This book was released on 2001 with total page 214 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The principle of sacrifice is as old as human life itself. Human, animal or inanimate offerings were an essential part of an effort to handle natural disasters, secure good luck or good health, ensure success in war or commerce, in fact to produce any outcome that could better life on Earth. This fascinating book provides the first general, fully illustrated overview of sacrificial practices around the world from prehistoric times to the present day. Highly illustrated throughout in colour and black and white, this text includes an intriguing overview of a practice surprisingly common throughout human history. Broad coverage includes Druids, voodoo, Aztecs and witchcraft. - From Publishers Weekly : Although many might dismiss ritual sacrifice as cruel, Lewis--a seasoned journalist and historian who is a specialist on the Aztecs--reveals it as a highly complex activity, one deeply entrenched even in the rituals of contemporary Christianity, and alive and well in the recent rise of neopaganism in the West. In fact, Lewis goes so far as to frame sacrifice as "the final step in the intellectual separation of humans from animals"--a claim that may give some readers pause. Peppered with vivid photographs and a full-color insert of images, from altars to funeral pyres, Lewis shows readers why, for many civilizations both ancient and recent, even the most extreme blood sacrifices were deemed essential not only to general survival but for preventing such atrocities as the end of the world. Her study canvases civilizations on six continents and assesses questions like why those chosen for human sacrifice embraced their fate so willingly. Lewis endeavors to hold her subject at arm's length so as not to disrupt this history with personal bias--though occasionally her partiality for science's superiority over religion is evident. Luckily, this does not disrupt her overall presentation of a topic that readers may be tempted to view with a misplaced, morbid fascination. (Mar.).

Book Synopsis Cosmic Reconciliation by : Glen C. Cutlip
Download or read book Cosmic Reconciliation written by Glen C. Cutlip and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2000-02-09 with total page 150 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cosmic Reconciliation contains two other volumes: The All-Oneness of God and The Living Christ Consciousness. All three volumes are concerned with the reconciliation of all things through ones Christ Self unto the the God Self of the many within the one. If you can bear to hear now what many could not bear to hear two thousand years ago, you will not want to miss the good news of the reconciliation of all things unto God. To see the Christ as is, is to come to see God as God is, not what either might appear to be. The reconciliation of all things unto God is the reconciliation of an infinity of many unto the One, for the one and the many are realized to be two parts of the same thing. Now is the time to take responsibility for what you are in God, for now we can see how that an infinity of many share that responsibility with us. And in that sense, the burden is considered to be light (not heavy) burden.
Book Synopsis The Metaphysics of Inspired Communication by : Glen Carl Cutlip
Download or read book The Metaphysics of Inspired Communication written by Glen Carl Cutlip and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2005-06-01 with total page 136 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Metaphysics of Inspired Communication takes us beyond what communication appears to be. Although one of the dual mind has ears that hear not, this doesnt mean that such a one doesnt hear at all. One of the dual mind has ears that hear not because such hearing is hearing in part, for deafness is a part of such hearing. Inspired communication is a means of reconciling so-called hearing and deafness so that one may have ears that hear. It is also a means of reconciling sight and blindness so that one may have eyes that see. It is also a means of reconciling life and death so that one may experience the resurrection from the death one is living in. As we reconcile the opposites of being, we come to realize that deafness is a part of hearing. To deny deafness is to deny the hearing hidden within it. Accordingly, to deny blindness is to deny the sight hidden within it. To deny death is to deny the life hidden within it. In order to have ears that hear, we must allow deafness to be a part of hearing, for they are revealed to be two parts of the same thing. To have eyes that see, we must allow blindness to be a part of sight, for they are two parts of the same thing. To have life that is beyond what life and death appear to be, we must allow death to be a part of life. The Metaphysics of Inspired Communication brings unconscious awareness unto conscious awareness so that we may understand how it is that the deaf hear, the blind see, and how the dead are raised. We come to understand that the resurrection of the dead takes place in present time, not after the body passes away; for the resurrection is of the living-dead in the first place. Communicating beyond what communication appears to be to the dual mind is not an easy thing. It is not a difficult thing either, even though it seems to have taken a long time in arriving at this point in consciousness.
