Often we never find this superstar. We give up too easily because the world leads us to believe that superstars have special talents we lack. Dr. White's research into how over 60 ordinary people, like Steve Jobs, Jack Welsh, Warren Buffet, Lady Gaga, and many others, became superstars shows that we all have the potential to become superstars in what we love to do. McIntyre provides a step-by-step, customizable solution to overcome this roadblock. Coached by McIntyre, leaders learn to craft the right team, create a consistent core message that enables the brand, and then, connect the two. Business owners are given a rock-solid process for attracting and keeping superstars, and dropping nightmares. They learn how to get their core message out of their head and into the heads of their superstar team. Supported by McIntyre, organizational leaders will define their core mission, and develop a distinct, systematic formula that enables their team to accomplish it. Leaders are aided with a thorough checklist to guide implementation, giving them everything they need for consistent performance from their team and ongoing success.

White and Sanjay Jha provide a comprehensive nine-step roadmap to help you succeed in the workplace and other areas of your lives. The Superstar Syndrome is the ultimate success bible based on the lives of over 80 well-known people, like N.R. Narayana Murthy, M.S. It covers all aspects of what you need to know and do to successfully make the journey to superstardom—how to identify and manage your special talents, build power, influence, and deliver A-level performances—and illustrates each step with examples from the lives of the well-known superstars that were studied. It makes you believe that the finish line is not just within your reach, but opens up dreams and possibilities beyond.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I was born in the years of the baby boomers. At this time, it was the years of segregation. We were poor people, if one would compare those times to today. Now, we would have been considered poor, but no one knew it then as everyone in the community was in the same state odd being. If my family didn’t have certain food or ingredients for their meal, we could go next door and get it. The same would be true if the people next door needed something to complete their meal, they could come to our house, and if we had it, we would give it to them. There were separate water fountains on the streets side by side. However, they were labeled colored only and White only. One day, as I was on the street alone, I drank from the White only fountain. I found that the water was the same as was in the colored only fountain. As people had jobs, without them knowing it, the jobs were a form of legal slavery. The workers had not been out of the community to discover that they were being paid wrong. When I got older and graduated from high school, I left home to attend college, I found that this was true and tried to let the Black workers know. The White owners of the businesses told the Black people not to listen or talk to me as I was a troublemaker. There were many Black athletics in the area, but we were not allowed to play on teams with the White boys as we were not smart enough to compete with them until they were going to other communities to compete with other White teams. Then they wanted us as they found that by using us, they would win.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Does this sound familiar? “If I could get in front of the prospect, the rest of the selling process becomes easier. It’s just getting in front of them that’s the challenge.” The fact is most cold calling efforts are doomed from the start. Salespeople lose sales not due to a lack of effort, but because they lack a prospecting system they are comfortable with and can trust to generate greater, consistent results. If you are prospecting the same way you have been for the last several years (including the “calling to check in, touch base or follow-up” approach) or haven’t been prospecting at all, you’re simply making it easier for your competition to take away the new business you are working so hard to earn. So, if you love to sell but hate (or don’t like) to prospect, this book is your opportunity to maximize your cold calling potential and boost your income by learning how to get in front of the right prospects in less time and create greater selling opportunities without the fear, pressure or anxiety associated with cold calling. This Complete Idiot’s Guide® will show you how to: • Utilize the seven steps to a permission-based cold calling conversation so that you don’t have to push your presentation and hope there’s a fit. • Create winning voice mail messages that will ensure more return calls. • Develop your MVP (Most Valuable Proposition) that separates you from your competition. • Craft the Compelling Reasons that would motivate a prospect to speak with you. • Prevent and defuse initial objections, such as “I'm not interested,” “We don't have any money now,” or “Call me back later.” • Design your own step-by-step prospecting and follow-up system that runs on autopilot and is aligned with your selling philosophy, strengths, objectives, and natural talents rather than taking the generic, “one size fits all” approach. • Develop the right questions and uncover new selling opportunities in seconds so that you can stop wasting precious time on the wrong prospects.

Book excerpt: Look to the stars for a whole new approach to market cycle forecasting A Trader's Guide to Financial Astrology is the definitive guide to trading market cycles based on astrological data. Written by a highly-respected technical analyst, this book makes the connection between the movements of planets and the volatility of the market. Readers can draw upon one hundred years of historical data as they learn how to spot correlations from the past, and refer to planetary and lunar data for the next five years as they shape their own strategy. The book covers the principles of astrological forecasting as applied to the financial markets, explaining what to watch for and how to interpret planetary and lunar activity, plus expert insight on everyday practical application. A study by the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta determined that the U.S. stock markets tend to be negatively affected by geomagnetic storms, and the Royal Bank of Scotland demonstrated that a trading system based on the phases of the moon would have outperformed the market. A Trader's Guide to Financial Astrology shows traders how to tap into the planetary forces that influence market activity. Readers will: Learn how planetary and lunar movements relate to the financial markets Draw upon 100 years of historic correlations and five years of forecast data Forecast long-term and short-term activity based on planetary relationships and lunar movement Enter the markets at key turning points, using price patterns and other tools When integrated with technical trading patterns, astrology can be an effective way of shifting perspective and approaching the market differently. For traders who have always wanted to know what to do when Mercury is in retrograde or the moon is new, A Trader's Guide to Financial Astrology provides information and insight from a leading market educator.
