Book excerpt: Listening to God's soft quiet voice has led this mother and daughter team on an ultimate journey of documenting 'Signs from God' and sharing the true testimony of a miraculous healing Arlene experienced after suffering five long years with a nervous breakdown. It is a story of faith that speaks so profoundly you will clearly recognize that God is in control. God led Sharon on the journey of documenting the signs from God she and her mother have personally received. While documenting these signs, that inner voice was relentless. Sharon felt the nudge from God to reach out to their community as well in hopes of receiving signs from others that may have had similar experiences. Without hesitation she composed her Facebook post. Once the message was out there for all to see, stories immediately started flowing that were willingly shared on the day God spoke to her. It was then that she and her mother sat back, took a deep breath, and said, "The rest is up to you, God."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is there such a thing as natural knowledge of God? C. Stephen Evans presents the case for understanding theistic arguments as expressions of natural signs in order to gain a new perspective both on their strengths and weaknesses. Three classical, much-discussed theistic arguments - cosmological, teleological, and moral - are examined for the natural signs they embody. At the heart of this book lie several relatively simple ideas. One is that if there is a God of the kind accepted by Christians, Jews, and Muslims, then it is likely that a 'natural' knowledge of God is possible. Another is that this knowledge will have two characteristics: it will be both widely available to humans and yet easy to resist. If these principles are right, a new perspective on many of the classical arguments for God's existence becomes possible. We understand why these arguments have for many people a continued appeal but also why they do not constitute conclusive 'proofs' that settle the debate once and for all. Touching on the interplay between these ideas and contemporary scientific theories about the origins of religious belief, particularly the role of natural selection in predisposing humans to form beliefs in God or gods, Evans concludes that these scientific accounts of religious belief are fully consistent, even supportive, of the truth of religious convictions.

They are searching for historical, scientific, biblical, and archaeological evidence that prove that God's word is exactly that—God's word.Thankfully, scholars such as Professor Don Uhm have provided solid answers to questions posed by the uninformed, and many Christians as well. The Signs and Involvements of God is written for the Christian lay person who wants to be prepared “to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Peter 3:15).Christians will be strengthened in their faith in these topics: • The Bible and science • The Bible and history • Jesus' fulfillment of prophecy • God's interaction with man's free will • The work of Satan and God's judgment • End times signs • . . . and more! This book will capture your imagination with convincing evidences that prove the Creator, the great Designer, has all things under control. It will provide you with evidence to refute the Darwinian idea that “accidental chance” can explain the wonders of our systematically well balanced universe and life on earth.

Book excerpt: Signs of God reveals why discussion of the nature of miracles is of central rather than marginal importance where belief in God is concerned. Miracles cannot be shunted to one side as an embarrassing hangover from a 'pre-scientific age'. Miracles have played an important role in the history of all the major world religions, and many religious believers claim that they continue to do so. Yet they have also been criticized from a philosophical viewpoint as incompatible with a belief in laws of nature, and those who seek to have their religious beliefs properly attuned to the modern world often prefer to do without them. This accessible book examines the nature of miracles both in philosophical and historical terms, and concludes that, whether or not miracles happen, it is difficult to see how religious belief could survive without them.

Book excerpt: From one of the world’s most beloved Bible teachers comes a timely, compelling, and comprehensive biblical interpretation of Bible prophecy, the end times, and the apocalypse viewed through the lens of current world events. Many Christians struggle to understand the Book of Revelation. “The end times.” “The apocalypse.” “The day of judgment.” These terms are both fascinating and frightening – but what do they really mean? Drawing from decades of study, Dr. Jeremiah explains every key sign of the approaching apocalypse and what it means for you, including international, cultural, heavenly, tribulation, and end signs. With his engaging writing style and clear analysis of how current world events were foretold in the Bible, The Book of Signs is an encouraging guide to the Book of Revelation. In The Book of Signs, Dr. David Jeremiah offers answers to questions including: What does the Bible tell us about the future? How much can we understand about biblical prophecy and its application in our lives? What signs and signals will precede the end of everything as we know it? Which of those signs and signals have already come to pass, which are we experiencing now, and which are still to come? An epic and authoritative guide to biblical prophecy, The Book of Signs is a must-have resource for Christians seeking to navigate the uncertainties of the present and embrace God’s promises for the future with a renewed sense of hope and purpose.

Satan’s deception has influenced multitudes to attempt to foretell their futures through the evils of astrology. In them lies the story of Jesus from His birth to the final judgment ahead. Signs in the Heavens shatters and exposes every lie of satanic deception about the stars. Learn about Old Testament men who caught visions of God’s plan through the stars, and also named them. You won’t be the same after Marilyn sets startling precept upon precept to bring you the Greatest Story Ever Told. Take this heavenly journey: discover the Signs in the Heavens!

Book excerpt: Signs Wonders, and the Kingdom of God is a book for anyone who believes in God's supernatural power but who doubts that we can experience that power personally. This new book presents a fascinating, biblical theology of the Kingdom of God. Williams describes how God works to establish his reign now and in eternity and how we can demonstrate and proclaim, as Jesus did, the supernatural power of his kingdom. Signs, Wonders, and the Kingdom of God investigates the relationship between supernatural power and the ministry of the church today. As a community of love and faith under the reign of God, we continue Jesus' ministry of power evangelizing the poor, casting out demons, healing the sick, and setting free the captives.

How can we rest assured that Jesus will be with us through all of life's ups and downs? The Seven Signs. How can we share this Jesus with friends, family, and neighbors who don't yet know Him? The Seven Signs. In a world of darkness, doubt, and confusion, the Seven Signs provide light to anyone about Jesus Christ, the promised One. Whether you already believe, or aren't sure what you believe, The Seven Signs of Jesus will open your eyes. The Seven Signs of Jesus: God's Proof for the Open-Minded focuses on the Savior through the lens of the famous seven signs presented in the Gospel of John, which are specifically given so that readers will -believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.- However, the signs do much more than offer evangelistic proof-as if they were simply parts of a mathematical equation or elements of a formula in physics. They reveal Jesus as the One who offers to be with us through all of life: during our celebrations, on our sickbeds, in our disabilities, amid our feasting, in our dangers, alongside us in our spiritual searching, and when we face our deaths. In all these things, they point the way to a vibrant, life-changing faith.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Signs of Jesus' Deity in the Gospel of John provides a concise resource tool for those who minister through preaching, teaching, and leading bible studies around the signs within this important Christian teaching. Do the miracles in the gospel of John prove that Jesus of Nazareth is the son of God? In a carefully researched study, a seasoned preacher and teacher examines the signs recorded in the gospel of John, explores whether they provide definitive proof of the deity of Jesus Christ, and analyzes the background of the audience during the period of Jesus as well as that of the implied readers of the gospel. Dr. Fields explains the text in John's gospel, specifically the passages related to the traditional seven signs and the other nontraditional miraculous signs. He also analyzes the acceptance or lack of acceptance of the signs as reasons for believing in Jesus Christ and considers the post-resurrection perspective of the uniqueness of the signs within the early church and the present-day church. Dr. Fields desires to give honor and glory to the Lord Jesus Christ so that souls may be saved and strengthened in the kingdom of God.

Book excerpt: This is a book on Rumi's life, his poetry, his thought, and his influence. Rumi's work forms one of the pillars of the Sufi orders, particularly the Mevlevi order, better known in the West as the Whirling Dervishes. In this book Rumi emerges not only as a spiritual master, but also as a fully human being grounded firmly in the Koran and in classical Islamic mysticism. The light of the Divine Sun, in its Beauty and Majesty, manifested itself for Rumi through the person of Shams of Tabriz. Transformed by this light, consumed by this fire, Mowlana Rumi saw the world in a new light. Everywhere he perceived God's Grandeur and his Grace. The book also discusses the theological premises upon which Rumi's work rests, his attitude to the problems of free will and predestination, and his analysis of the mystical stages and stations. The book not only gives a very rich analysis of Rumi's language and poetical art, but also a picture of medieval Konya, whose features the mystical poet transforms and transfigures.
