Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The objective of the Holy Bible, the Sacred Scriptures, 27th edition, volume III, is to revoke all falsifications in today's Bibles known so far (the New Testament), and to restore the original state of the verses as far as possible. In the present work, you will find from "The Letter to the Hebrews" to "The General Letter of Judah", also "The Book of Daniel" and "The Book of Revelation", in which the verses are written in German and English, as well as an appendix with various elaborations and statements, etc. (see the table of contents). There is both a German and an English edition in which the attachments are available in the respective selected language. This is a English version. Other important parts of this work are focused on "The Doctrine of the Trinity", "The holy Name of our God", "The Name of His Son and the Significancy", "The Falsification of the Resurrection Day", "The Ttatements of Dr. Martin Luther and the Reformers", "The official Statements of the Clergy in Rome", "The full validity of God's Law" as well as detailed explanations by the English reformers, falsifications in the Holy Bible, false doctrines, etc. The author was born in 1963 in North Rhine-Westphalia and completed a traineeship for wholesale and foreign trade in a pharmaceutical wholesale company. In the course of his professional development, he used to be a freelancer but was also officially employed; he has experienced a lot rises and falls throughout his life. While studying the Scriptures, he was led by the Spirit of the only God, the Almighty and the only Holy Father in heaven, whereas, by grace, he could recognize many things that are now presented as heresies to the world. In recent years he has been active in the proclamation of the Word of God in Europe, particularly in Brazil (South America), and has enlightened many people by his message, so that they get to know the true God, His holy name and His will and only obey Him – and start to think about all this, i. e. "so that they finally decide themselves in favour of the living God, instead of against Him, and their names are not erased from the divine 'Book of Life' forever."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In July 1839 Emerson wrote in his journal: "A lecture is a new literature...only then is the orator successful when he is himself agitated & is as much a hearer as any of the assembly. In that office you may & shall...yet see the electricity part from the cloud & shine from one part of heaven to the other." In this final volume of the early lectures we see the mature lecturer, directing himself toward that eloquence to which he aspired and finding a new vocation. With these lectures--ten from the series "Human Life," nine from the series "The Present Age," the "Address to the People of East Lexington," and two surviving lectures from the series "The Times"--Emerson produced virtually all his earned income from 1838-1842. The volume includes a biographical and critical introduction. A comprehensive index has been carefully prepared for the three volumes.

Book excerpt: Volume III: Fate follows the first two award-winning volumes in the historic trilogy A Pyrrhic Victory by Ian Crouch. In 279 BC, Pyrrhus has just won the bloody battle of Asculum against the Romans in the battle that gave rise to the expression – “A Pyrrhic Victory” – one that comes at such a great cost that the victory may not have been worth the ordeal that was suffered. While punished, the power of the legions has not been broken. The road to Rome is still barred to Pyrrhus. His peace terms are again rejected. He must gather greater strength to break the deadlock, and accepts the invitation of the powerful Greek cities in Sicily to lead them against the invading Carthaginians. In return, they offer him their support in his war against Rome. Pyrrhus was described by Hannibal as the finest commander the world had seen, after Alexander himself.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Zagami pushes the boundaries once again with this unique and personal journey into the mysteries of the secretive world of the Dark Cabal. In the third book of this acclaimed series, Zagami explores a variety of cryptic topics that are always verified with documentation. This is not a work of fiction, but a tool with which readers can comprehend topics that range from the truth about the mythical Knights Templars to the Jesuits and their Vatican espionage game. Zagami uncovers the most credible candidates of the Grail mystery with proven testimony from an official saint of the Catholic Church. Zagami also upholds what he calls "conspiracy reality," a way to fight back against the system of lies and deceit responsible for the rise of Satanism in the Vatican, showing in the process the magical practices of the Illuminati.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE SERPENTS SEED expounds upon a Biblical doctrine that is essential for the proper understanding of both the Scriptures and the present day, but which has remained obscured for the past fifteen hundred years. And the doctrine is this: that since the creation of man we have been at war, not only against Satan and his corruptive influences, but against the literal offspring of fallen angels and mortal women. These hybrid creatures reigned during the days of Noah and Abraham, battled Joshua and King David for control of Israel, tormented the Jews during the time of Jesus, and continue to roam the earth even today. Our society, even our church, has fallen under the sway of these ancient and terrible beings. Thus The Serpents Seed was written so that we might not depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (1st Timothy 4:1).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Roman cities have rarely been studied from the perspective of women, and studies of Roman women mainly focus on the city of Rome. Studying the civic participation of women in the towns of Italy outside Rome and in the numerous cities of the Latin-speaking provinces of the Roman Empire, this books offers a new view on Roman women and urban society in the Roman Principate. Drawing on epigraphy and archaeology, and to a lesser extent on legal and literary texts, women's civic roles as priestesses, benefactresses and patronesses or 'mothers' of cities and associations (collegia and the Augustales) are brought to the fore. In contrast to the city of Rome, which was dominated by the imperial family, wealthy women in the local Italian and provincial towns had ample opportunity to leave their mark on the city. Their motives to spend their money, time and energy for the benefit of their cities and the rewards their contributions earned them take centre stage. Assessing the meaning and significance of their contributions for themselves and their families and for the cities that enjoyed them, the book presents a new and detailed view of the role of women and gender in Roman urban life.

Book excerpt: This book provides a long-overdue account of online technology and its impact on the work and lifestyles of professional employees. It moves between the offices and homes of workers in the knew "knowledge" economy to provide intimate insight into the personal, family, and wider social tensions emerging in today’s rapidly changing work environment. Drawing on her extensive research, Gregg shows that new media technologies encourage and exacerbate an older tendency among salaried professionals to put work at the heart of daily concerns, often at the expense of other sources of intimacy and fulfillment. New media technologies from mobile phones to laptops and tablet computers, have been marketed as devices that give us the freedom to work where we want, when we want, but little attention has been paid to the consequences of this shift, which has seen work move out of the office and into cafés, trains, living rooms, dining rooms, and bedrooms. This professional "presence bleed" leads to work concerns impinging on the personal lives of employees in new and unforseen ways. This groundbreaking book explores how aspiring and established professionals each try to cope with the unprecedented intimacy of technologically-mediated work, and how its seductions seem poised to triumph over the few remaining relationships that may stand in its way.
