Firstly, the contemporary national and international scenarios in socioeconomic, political, ethnic, and cultural domains are throwing up many issues, problems, and challenges relating to development, environment, human rights, human security, communal harmony, peaceful coexistence among nations, and world peace and security. Secondly, existing global institutions are proving to be wanting in their structures and authorities in solving these problems. Alternatively, a new global independent organization with enforcing authority is needed to act upon and solve these issues. The need for replacement of UNO seems to be justified because of failure to solve global problems. The nineteenth and twentieth centuries witnessed revivals of proposals for world government that were fueled by positive developments, such as technological progress in travel and communications that enabled rapid economic globalization as well as negative developments such as the devastating impact of wars fought with modern technology. The author's approach of the formation of the world parliament is through proportional representation of nation's parliaments, thus avoids direct election process for its formation. All the nations and their people's representatives are involved in the formation of the World Parliament and the world government. Based on this line of thinking, the structure for a new federal world government and the new federal world constitution are presented in this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The recent Coronavirus pandemic has taught us that our individual governments are not up to the job of taking on global challenges. What will happen when the next global crisis brought forth by the growing Climate Crisis? What will happen when things get really raunchy and we are all forced to fight for the scraps of a failing world environment coming soon? The only answer is to form a new Global Government and for that we will all need a Global Constitution that is acceptable to all and that protects and extends the RIGHTS AND FREEDOMS that we all agree are God-given and deserve to be given to all persons living on the Earth today - not just the lucky few who happen to be born in a more politically advanced society. No one should be forced to live under a tyrant or dictator. Nowhere on this planet should laws be made that we all abide by without a DEMOCRATIC PROCESS of approval by the people who are wanting to live under the laws of the land. No country should be able to bully another country because they have bigger cannons or the latest machine guns, cannons, bombs and bombers. No country should live in fear of a neighbor. No person should live in fear of their government. Every person should have the right to a say in how their government works and be the authority in every sense of the word. All people should have the right to a referendum on any given issue whose results must be obeyed by the government because all government derives from the people. Government's purpose is not to enslave its people, but to be enslaved by them. No government shall have the right to destroy the planet even if they are able to keep their destruction within their own borders. The Earth belongs to us all. Not a square inch of it belongs to a politician, a ruler, a political party or a corporation. All of the Earth is shared by all and its resources must never be squandered and there should be a global authority capable of enforcing the preservation of the Earth. If you don't complete reading this book and you are not 100% convinced that it's time for a Global Constitution, then I believe you are the results of hundreds of years of brainwashing and all is lost for the Human Race if there is more of you than people who are not brainwashed and can still think clearly. This is not Communism. This is not Socialism. This is not Republican or Democratic. This Global Constitution is merely the life-long research and original thought of one person, the author, who believes that the equality and harmony and unity offered by a Global Constitution for all people of the Earth is completely logical and will someday be taken for granted by countless generations of our kind for thousands of years to come - that is if we can survive the mess that out-dated, horse-and-buggy political systems have delivered to us and which is killing us, even bringing us to the edge of Extinction. With a completely new and revolutionary move in the right direction, Humankind can avert total catastrophe and it is in this spirit that the completely new Global Constitution, the One World Government to Save The Earth is offered.

Book excerpt: "Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World" is the fourth unclassified report prepared by the National Intelligence Council (NIC) in recent years that takes a long-term view of the future. It offers a fresh look at how key global trends might develop over the next 15 years to influence world events. Our report is not meant to be an exercise in prediction or crystal ball-gazing. Mindful that there are many possible "futures," we offer a range of possibilities and potential discontinuities, as a way of opening our minds to developments we might otherwise miss. Book excerpt: WORLD GOVERNMENT, READY OR NOT! is the first how-to-do-it and how-it-is-being done book on the making of world peace through government of, by, and for the citizens of the world recounted in masterful detail by a veteran of over 50 years experience in the "field." WWII bomber pilot Garry Davis, in 1948 took Emery Reves (Anatomy of Peace) at his word first that "...the ideal of the nation-state is bankrupt.." and second that "There is no first step to world government. World Government is the first step." The eclectic Renaissance Man, stateless World Citizen Davis "lives" the future today treating philosophy, law, economics, travel, space, history and more with equal ease and insight. Moreover, as a world activist, he has seen the inside of over 30 national prisons. E. B.White wrote that "Davis marches to the beat of the Universe while we all march to a broken drum." "The birth pangs of the new world order are already upon us," Davis writes in the Prologue, "and as necessity knows no law but its own, we are too busy attending to that long-heralded and momentous birth to still the shrill cries of infidelity." WORLD GOVERNMENT, READY OR NOT! is a book for the 21st century and beyond.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Where is “America” and what do we mean when we call America “the nation”?The United States is a union of states that is located on the continent of North America and on the Hawaiian Islands in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. A more exact name for “the nation” would be, “The United States of North America and the Pacific Ocean.” Whatever the name, the union has always had difficulty being one nation since it has been adding states since 1787, in all 37 new states. Has the actual history of America since the ratification of the Constitution been the construction of a nation or of a union of states? The Constitution takes some sovereign powers away from states and transfers them to the Federal Government but as a result no government in the union is fully sovereign and each must function by law as a democracy. The Constitution reduces the power that makes an American state a normal state, full sovereignty, and it does not grant even the status of a state to the Federal Government. The government in Washington D.C. is located in a district, not a state, and its sovereign powers are limited by the Constitution just as are the powers of states. In this book, twelve essays on American history explore the struggle for power between the states and the Federal Government and conclude that the central idea of the Constitution is that all governments of the union at any level must be democracies. The men who created the Constitution and the men who ratified it gambled that to have democratic governments in their states full sovereignty was not necessary. Their gamble has paid off to such an extent that our American political system, a union of states with limited sovereignty, is the only political system in the world that can realistically produce a union of democratic states worldwide. The Federal Government should give up trying to be the head of “the nation” and instead become the central supranational government of a world union of states. The Constitution gives Congress the power to admit new states. States worldwide should apply for admission to the American union in order to guarantee for themselves economic development and a democratic government. The United States of America should become The United States of the World in order to secure by a strong central government and a written constitution the right of its peoples to be citizens in any democratic state of their union where they choose to reside.

Book excerpt: Classic Books Library presents this brand new edition of “The Federalist Papers”, a collection of separate essays and articles compiled in 1788 by Alexander Hamilton. Following the United States Declaration of Independence in 1776, the governing doctrines and policies of the States lacked cohesion. “The Federalist”, as it was previously known, was constructed by American statesman Alexander Hamilton, and was intended to catalyse the ratification of the United States Constitution. Hamilton recruited fellow statesmen James Madison Jr., and John Jay to write papers for the compendium, and the three are known as some of the Founding Fathers of the United States. Alexander Hamilton (c. 1755–1804) was an American lawyer, journalist and highly influential government official. He also served as a Senior Officer in the Army between 1799-1800 and founded the Federalist Party, the system that governed the nation’s finances. His contributions to the Constitution and leadership made a significant and lasting impact on the early development of the nation of the United States.

Book excerpt: In this provocative book, one of our most eminent political scientists questions the extent to which the American Constitution furthers democratic goals. Robert Dahl reveals the Constitution's potentially antidemocratic elements and explains why they are there, compares the American constitutional system to other democratic systems, and explores how we might alter our political system to achieve greater equality among citizens. In a new chapter for this second edition, he shows how increasing differences in state populations revealed by the Census of 2000 have further increased the veto power over constitutional amendments held by a tiny minority of Americans. He then explores the prospects for changing some important political practices that are not prescribed by the written Constitution, though most Americans may assume them to be so.

But now, acrimony is not confined to a moment; it's a permanent state of affairs and has seeped into every part of the political process. Identifying the overriding problems that have led Congress—and the United States—to the brink of institutional collapse, It's Even Worse Than It Looks profoundly altered the debate about why America's government has become so dysfunctional. Through a new preface and afterword, Thomas Mann and Norman Ornstein bring the story forward, examining the 2012 presidential campaign and exploring the prospects of a less dysfunctional government. As provocative and controversial as ever, It's Even Worse Than It Looks will continue to set the terms of our political debate in the years to come.

Its history can give an idea of the glorious past the state has witnessed. Andhra Pradesh, whose recorded history begins in the Vedic period. To gain an independent state based on linguistic identity and protect the interests of the Telugu-speaking people, Potti Sreeramulu fasted to death in 1952. The Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014, commonly known as the Telangana Act, is an Act of the Indian Parliament that bifurcated the residuary Andhra Pradesh state as an outcome of the Telangana movement. However, even after Seven years of Andhra Pradesh of bifurcation on June 2, 2014, both Telangana and the residuary state of Andhra Pradesh continue to suffer bifurcation blues as most of the promises made by the Centre to both the states in the AP Reorganisation Act, 2014, remaining unfulfilled. In addition, there is no reconciliation spirit on agreeing to share water and other assets among the two States. The non-fulfilment of promises made and not a full implementation of the Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act-2014, problems of water sharing, assets sharing and political differences, it looks wise to suggest for Reunification of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana into a giant Telugu State with the name “UNITED TELUGU STATES OF INDIA (UTSIND)” with Hyderabad as its Capital City and Amaravathi as a second Capital City. Reunification of the two states solves all the problems they are facing. The book makes a case for forming the “UNITED TELUGU STATES OF INDIA (UTSIND)”, which will become the most developed South Indian State with its combined resources.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Democracy is defined as the Government of the people, by the people and for the people. It is considered the most acceptable form of Government in which every individual participates consciously and in which the people remain the sovereign power determining their destiny. India is a multicultural, multilingual, multi-religious and multi communal country. But Unity in Diversity is its strength. It is the largest Democracy in the World and is one of the oldest civilizations, with a rich cultural heritage. The Indian Constitution, which stands for national goals like Socialism and National Integration, was framed by the representatives of the Indian people over a long period of debates and discussions. The Constitution declares India to be a Sovereign, Secular, Socialist, and Democratic Republic. The Constitution of India guarantees Fundamental Rights to all its citizens. They have the Right to Equality, Right to Freedom, Right against Exploitation, Right to Freedom of Religion, Culture and Educational Rights and Right to Constitutional Remedies. Various other constitutional safeguards are provided in the Constitution for the weaker sections' welfare and development like Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes. While tracing the Indian Freedom Movement, Indian Democracy, Indian Constitution, Indian Parliament and Government, the book focuses on the status of the Common man. What benefits he derived from the three wings of governance- Legislative, Executive and Judiciary- and what he is deprived of has been examined in the book and suggested appropriate measures wherever needed for his betterment.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Making, amending, and interpreting constitutions is a political game that can yield widespread suffering or secure a nation's liberty and prosperity. Given these high stakes, Robert Cooter argues that constitutional theory should trouble itself less with literary analysis and arguments over founders' intentions and focus much more on the real-world consequences of various constitutional provisions and choices. Pooling the best available theories from economics and political science, particularly those developed from game theory, Cooter's economic analysis of constitutions fundamentally recasts a field of growing interest and dramatic international importance. By uncovering the constitutional incentives that influence citizens, politicians, administrators, and judges, Cooter exposes fault lines in alternative forms of democracy: unitary versus federal states, deep administration versus many elections, parliamentary versus presidential systems, unicameral versus bicameral legislatures, common versus civil law, and liberty versus equality rights. Cooter applies an efficiency test to these alternatives, asking how far they satisfy the preferences of citizens for laws and public goods. To answer Cooter contrasts two types of democracy, which he defines as competitive government. The center of the political spectrum defeats the extremes in "median democracy," whereas representatives of all the citizens bargain over laws and public goods in "bargain democracy." Bargaining can realize all the gains from political trades, or bargaining can collapse into an unstable contest of redistribution. States plagued by instability and contests over redistribution should move towards median democracy by increasing transaction costs and reducing the power of the extremes. Specifically, promoting median versus bargain democracy involves promoting winner-take-all elections versus proportional representation, two parties versus multiple parties, referenda versus representative democracy, and special governments versus comprehensive governments. This innovative theory will have ramifications felt across national and disciplinary borders, and will be debated by a large audience, including the growing pool of economists interested in how law and politics shape economic policy, political scientists using game theory or specializing in constitutional law, and academic lawyers. The approach will also garner attention from students of political science, law, and economics, as well as policy makers working in and with new democracies where constitutions are being written and refined.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is the last title of the seven holy book series written simultaneously in thirty-four months by a born prophet, seasoned and reputable spiritual scientist and consultant on issues related to nature and the universe at large, His Lordship Bishop Bassey Effiong Orok. After his consecration as bishop on Sunday, April 12, 2009, he was taken away by the Holy Spirit, passing through several borders and nations. And on the twelfth month after he was consecrated a bishop, he was given authority to settle down, being hidden from public sight, and the Holy Spirit led him to write the seven holy books series, namely, Holy Book of Revelations; Everlasting Arts and Sciences volumes 1 and 2; and Eternal Mysteries of Nations volumes 1, 2, and 3, including this very title. However, The Final World Government contains unimaginable and extraordinary knowledge. It is beyond human description and interpretation as it unveils the coming new world administration where only one governing system, one currency, one understanding, one belief and one language will be enforced globally, thereby bringing to an end all existing governments, organizations, groups, religions, tradition, beliefs, customs, and kingdoms irrespective of nation, language, continent, or colour. It announces the coming unavoidable global change (far from the present) as it unveils a world void of all political, civil, economic, food crises, agony, anger, catastrophe, blame, earthquakes, war, pain, enmity, insecurity, insurgency, terrorism, wickedness, danger, evil, sorrow, sickness and death. It gives in-depth and first-time knowledge on the natural origin of the different governments currently operating globally and moving ahead in unveiling the system of their final departure from the surface of the earth. It also unveils unprecedented mysteries concerning all continents, governments, organizations, religions, tribes, tongues, colours and every human race, even as it reveals how the entire earth and the heavens will be shaken thus causing man and other creations to run for their safety.
