Next to the consecutive history of professional matters within Camden county, and of the kindred professions of pharmacy and dentistry, the social, educational, political and military relationship of the medical fraternity to the City and County of Camden, the State of New Jersey and to the Government of the United States, has been carefully presented. This volume was prepared while the author was engaged in arduous professional duties, and it is his hope that its reader will derive as much pleasure from its perusal as it has afforded him in its preparation.
