Immortally or living forever in the body you were born with has been one of the best kept secrets for hundreds of years. This first book of a series deals with how living forever is physically possible. It explains physiology which is the how and the why the body functions and what it needs to renew itself indefinitely. It explains "The Immortal Diet" requirements to get healthy, stay healthy, and live forever. A diet that is easy to follow, inexpensive, safe, without side-effects, slimming, and environmentally conscious. All ages can thrive on this diet and especially those who are wanting to combat the effects of chronic disease and aging such as cancer, Parkinson's, AIDS, heart disease, obesity, ADHD and ADD, among many others caused by inflammation and toxicity. The author reveals the answers to many questions about what the human body needs to perform disease free and how to keep it running like a fine tuned engine. If you would like to know what it takes to have long lasting good health, to make the necessary changes, and to take back your power to control your health, then this book is for you. It is written in plain spoken language so that anyone can understand it that does not have a medical background. The author treats a serious subject with light humor and familiar examples. Although the science is well researched and factual, the author does not bore or confuse you with case studies and statistical data. The authors main objective was to reveal the secrets to physical immortality and to give the reader a clear understanding of what the human body needs to survive without disease. Survivalists, environmentalists, conservationists, and anyone interested in world overpopulation will be very interested in the "IMMORTALIST SECRETS SERIES" of which this is volume 1.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Americans are bombarded with so many rationales and diets that many among us reflect a confusion of choices that has little to do with the actual experience of food effects on our bodies. We can become so busy gathering knowledge that we have no energy or motivation to see the relationship between our food choices and our general well being. This book neither promotes nor pans any existing diets. Instead, readers will find it useful as a guide to help decide which foods and manners of eating are best for them. The Tao of Eating reflects a way of living in harmony with all that we call life; it does not describe the process. Rather, it mirrors the philosophy of the Tao Te Ching: that living is deepened and informed by our turning inward and tapping into stillness as a source of clarity. The chapters are intended to be used as daily readings (or occasional readings.) They are not meant to be read all at once but, rather, assimilated and integrated over time and in harmony with the reader's needs. The content was derived through comparison of 14 translations of the Tao Te Ching, by Lao Tzu, and through the use of supportive Taoist literature, all of which is listed in the bibliography. Since I do not read Chinese, and because each translator views the Tao from an individual's perspective, I used these several translations to gain a sense of the original content of each chapter. The Tao is notably paradoxical; it speaks through the metaphor of water, which, while soft and apparently passive, can effortlessly wear away or break stone. Water enters a stagnant pool as readily as it does a flowing stream. Guided by Tao, no challenge is too great; all chaos can be transformed and harmonized. This approach applies to eating as well, and it serves to simplify and clarify the complexities and confusion inherent in America's foods and diets.

Book excerpt: This book is a lively exploration of the amazing revelation known to Mormons as the “Word of Wisdom.” It counsels us how and what we should eat to reach our highest potential, both physically and spiritually. New and surprising insights are presented through the perspective of what has been proven to be the healthiest human diet, a way of eating supported both by history and by science: a whole food, plant-based (WFPB) diet. WFPB vegetarian diets have been scientifically proven to both prevent and cure chronic disease, help you achieve your maximum physical potential, and make it easy to reach and maintain your ideal weight. In this book, you’ll find the stories of dozens of people who are enjoying the blessings of following a Word of Wisdom diet, and you’ll get concrete advice on how to get started! You will discover: What we should and should not eat to enjoy maximum physical health. How food is intimately connected to our spiritual well being. Why Latter-day Saints are succumbing to the same chronic diseases as the rest of the population, despite not smoking, drinking, or doing drugs. How the Word of Wisdom was designed specifically for our day. How you can receive the “hidden treasures” and other blessings promised in the Word of Wisdom. Why eating the foods God has ordained for our use is better not just for our bodies, but for the animals and for the earth. You may think you know what the Word of Wisdom says, but you’ll be amazed at what you have missed. Learn why Mormons all over the world are “waking up” to the Word of Wisdom!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What if there were a land where people lived longer than anywhere else on earth, the obesity rate was the lowest in the developed world, and women in their forties still looked like they were in their twenties? Wouldn't you want to know their extraordinary secret? Japanese-born Naomi Moriyama reveals the secret to her own high-energy, successful lifestyle–and the key to the enduring health and beauty of Japanese women–in this exciting new book. The Japanese have the pleasure of eating one of the most delicious, nutritious, and naturally satisfying cuisines in the world without denial, without guilt…and, yes, without getting fat or looking old. As a young girl living in Tokyo, Naomi Moriyama grew up in the food utopia of the world, where fresh, simple, wholesome fare is prized as one of the greatest joys of life. She also spent much time basking in that other great center of Japanese food culture: her mother Chizuko's Tokyo kitchen. Now she brings the traditional secrets of her mother's kitchen to you in a book that embodies the perfect marriage of nature and culinary wisdom–Japanese home-style cooking. If you think you've eaten Japanese food, you haven't tasted anything yet. Japanese home-style cooking isn't just about sushi and raw fish but good, old-fashioned everyday-Japanese-mom's cooking that's stood the test of time–and waistlines–for decades. Reflected in this unique way of cooking are the age-old traditional values of family and the abiding Japanese love of simplicity, nature, and good health. It's the kind of food that millions of Japanese women like Naomi eat every day to stay healthy, slim, and youthful while pursuing an energetic, successful, on-the-go lifestyle. Even better, it's fast, it's easy, and you can start with something as simple as introducing brown rice to your diet. You'll begin feeling the benefits that keep Japanese women among the youngest-looking in the world after your very next meal! If you're tired of counting calories, counting carbs, and counting on being disappointed with diets that don't work and don't satisfy, it's time to discover one of the best-kept and most delicious secrets for a healthier, slimmer, and long-living lifestyle. It's time to discover the Japanese fountain of youth….

Book excerpt: Here is a book to change your life. It is a method for losing weight through positive thinking and the changing of attitudes toward life and food. "This, of course, is no ordinary 'diet' book...This is an extraordinary approach to weight loss--a diet of forgiveness, a fast from negative thought--and if followed one can achieve bodily perfection. The theory is simple. Though we might think it is our negative eating habits that have kept us unattractive and unhealthy, it is really our negative thoughts and feelings. It is the latter we must change for that is what is aging and killing us. If we do...we drop our fat as well, for the same mechanism that holds on to negative thoughts and feelings holds on to fat." --from the Preface

Book excerpt: Is There Life After Death? For many, death is terrifying. We try to live as long as possible while hoping that science will soon find a way to allow us to live, if not forever, then at least a very long time. Whether we deny our mortality though literal or symbolic immortality or try to turn death into something benign, our attempts fail us. But what if the real solution is not in denying death’s reality, but in acknowledging it while enjoying a hope for a wonderful forever? Clay Jones, a professor of Christian apologetics, explores the ways people face death and how these “immortality projects” are unsuccessful, even destructive. Along the way, he points to the hope of the only true immortality available to all—the truth that God already offers a path to our hearts’ deepest longing: glorious resurrection to eternal life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Today, one in every four adults dies unnecessarily from one of the seven deadly diseases. Perhaps this is due to a lack of holistic education, or perhaps it is just that person's time to die. But how do we know if what we are facing is our checkout time or just a life challenge? What about spontaneous healing? What about healers like the Brazilian miracle man, John of God? In late 2004, I was diagnosed with a deadly carcinoma. My choices were either to immediately have further surgery or to begin chemotherapy. I chose neither. Instead I began an adventure into the field of alternative healing, discovering radical new light ray and sound wave technologies, diagnostic tools and new therapies based on the aboriginal concept of the dreamtime. All of this I explored during the early part of 2005 while deciding if I wished to remain on Earth, knowing that the main part of my work was complete and that I could now choose to go. The first part of this book details my personal healing journey. The second part of this book reveals the magic of meditation plus pragmatic tools to reenergize and find the perfect program for healing. The final section offers research on alternative diagnostic and treatment systems. Discover the door to the immortal's way!

Book excerpt: "The Immortal Self" traces historical ideas of the self as developed by philosophers, theologians, neurophysiologists, and scientists. It includes explanations of quantum mechanics and Einstein's theory of relativity that are readable and understandable by the layperson. It considers what science presently is capable of contributing to our many diverse concepts of what constitutes the self. To this end, "The Immortal Self" explores the brain, its morphology and operation, explores our concepts of time, and looks at the metaphysical concepts of quantum physics. The book also considers the paleontological and genetic evidence for the self. Ideas of the self extend into the mists of human history and have been handed down through the ancient Greek philosophers and through the religious prophets and philosophers. These ideas are collected and presented in an unbiased account for consideration by the reader. Finally, an empirical search for the self is suggested. About the Author Richard E. Wilde is Professor Emeritus of chemistry and biochemistry at Texas Tech University. He is a member of the American Chemical Society and the American Physical Society. He has published extensively in the areas of chemical physics and molecular spectroscopy. He is author of "The Many Faces of Jesus" and co-author with "Surjit Singh of Statistical Mechanics: Fundamentals and Modern Applications."
