John Knox being advertifed thereof, after he had made a comfortable fer-o mon at his lodging to fifty perfons, or thereabout, of the death and refurrec'lion of Chrifl, and of the unfpeakable joys prepared for God's eleet, departed towards Geneva the 26th of May 1 5 5 5, and was convoyed three or four miles in his way, by fome of thofe to whom he had made the forefaid exhortation, who with great heavinefs of hegrt, and plenty of tears committed him to the Lord.
