This book was released on 2020-09-06 with total page 76 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This essay sheds light on the future of the pet care industry and explicates how emerging technologies will revolutionize the pet care industry. Moreover, the benefits of leveraging robots in the pet care industry are demystified in this essay. Furthermore, how to earn substantial money online so that you can afford to procure your own pet care products is expounded upon in this essay. The future of the pet care industry will not only be characterized by dynamism as it continues to metaphorically evolve, but will also be eminently auspicious for pet care industry competitors and customers. Technological advancements are profoundly changing the pet care industry and are rendering it all the more technology driven. The pet care industry industry shows no signs of decelerating anytime in the imminent future. Pet care industry competitors are poised to have prosperous, lucrative, and auspicious futures as disposable incomes rise among pet owners and as the desire to own pets builds traction worldwide among prospective pet owners. Pet owners are making a more substantial investment into procuring pet care services and pet care products. "The global pet care market is expected to reach $202,600,000,000 by 2025. The global pet care market size was estimated at $131,700,000,000 in 2016 and is expected to grow at an compound annual growth rate of 4.9% from 2016 to 2025. Rise in the adoption of pets and growing demand for premium care products are few factors expected to drive market growth" ("Pet Care Market," 2018). Unsurprisingly, more customers are ushering in dogs and cats into their families. Much to the benefit of the pet care industry, the notion of adopting pets can be salubrious for pet owners. For instance, adopting "cats helps pet owners to reduce stress and anxiety as well as decrease their risk of stroke" ("Pet Care Market," 2018). Pets can help pet owners to alleviate chronic stress and mollify the adverse effects of succumbing to acute stress. "Previous studies have proven that pet owners tend to have lower blood pressure, cholesterol and triglyceride levels than people who do not own a pet. That means that having a pet can decrease the chances of suffering a heart attack later in life" (Barnard, n.d.). Pet ownership will become more desirable in the coming years, especially as the global population grows and as the longing for companionship remains unfulfilled among prospective pet owners. Pets are capable of providing even greater companionship to pet owners than humans are capable of providing. "Cats and dogs for instance make great companions and will always be waiting for you to come home. Cats and dogs will be happy to lend an ear to you should you want to moan about the" (Barnard, n.d.) stresses of the day. Pets are even able to satisfy needs that humans are unable to satisfy. The future of the pet care industry will be prosperous for pet care industry competitors, especially as pet adoption rates amplify. Even though pets are eminently expensive to take care of, pet owners are content with splurging on procuring pet care services and pet care products for their beloved pets. The global pet care market is comprised of ample market segments. "The pet food market segment was estimated to be the largest product segment due to growing demand for premium food products and natural and organic products. The boarding and grooming services market segment is anticipated to witness fastest growth over the forecast period owing to advances in technology, making boarding, grooming, and training more easily accessible for the pet owners. Advances in technology are making boarding, grooming, and training facilities more easily accessible to the owners. 69% of millennials are likely to use technology to keep track of their pets. Applications are allowing pet owners to monitor health habits, nutritional intake, and playtime. Built-in calendars alert owners to routine care provided by pet care services companies.

Book excerpt: This essay sheds light on the future of the robotics industry and explicates how robots will revolutionize ample industries. Moreover, the benefits of leveraging robots in global industries are demystified in this essay. Furthermore, how to earn substantial money online in the digital era so that you can afford to integrate robots into your own business is expounded upon in this essay. The future of the robotics industry will not only be characterized by dynamism as it continues to metaphorically evolve, but will also be eminently auspicious for robot manufacturing companies even though it will present fewer job opportunities for human laborers. In the coming years, the robotics industry will continue to make advancements to robotic technologies that extend beyond the ambit of robots being able to efficaciously leverage the power of deep learning to flawlessly execute learned tasks. Technological breakthroughs are being made in the growing field of robotics for the prospect of rendering robots intelligent and autonomous. "The current focus of the industry tends to be on giving robots vision. Specifically, the rise of machine vision technology. This, combined with the advancement of the Internet of Things, gives robots the ability to process images and understand what they are 'seeing'. As this technology continues to proliferate, the next step is giving robots the ability to apply these things to learn on their own. For example, a robot can currently be programmed to pick up and place items, but in the future, it will combine machine vision with machine learning to figure out its own programming through trial and error" (Davids, 2018). By leveraging machine learning and machine vision robots will be capable of seamlessly learning anything complex. In the coming decades, advancements will be made in the areas of machine learning, machine vision, deep learning, artificial intelligence, and robotic mobility. In the coming years, the robotics industry will also give rise to more collaborative robots which will work alongside human laborers. "This reflects the focus of the industry towards creating robots that are simpler, easier to program, and able to integrate into current processes. To make these robots safe, there is a large market for safety sensors that ensure humans can work alongside the robots without any significant risks. Machine vision will contribute to this as well, offering robots the ability to 'see' when someone is in their workspace" (Davids, 2018). Human will work alongside collaborative robots in order to be able to complete tasks more efficiently and productivity through sequential collaboration efforts. The future of the robots industry is not limited to advancements in collaborative robots, such as hand guiding collaborative robots or "speed and separation" ("What are the," 2019) collaborative robots. "The future will continue to enhance technologies, such as 3D embedded vision, multispectral, and hyperspectral imaging. This, combined with artificial intelligence and deep learning, will empower industrial robots to improve themselves and keep pace with the human workers around them" (Davids, 2018). In the coming decades, robots will have the capability to outperform human laborers in every facet a job as they become more technologically advanced. Robots will not only be able to teach themselves how to perform cumbersome tasks, but will also be able to incessantly work without taking breaks nor making errors. Robots can also work around the clock without succumbing to fatigue and can also work in a lights out environment with air conditioning. Beyond collaborative robots becoming more prevalently leveraged by companies in the pending years, industrial robots will also be utilized more by companies in the coming years. "The industrial robot industry for instance is expected to grow 175% over the next nine years and will result in more competition and innovation" (Davids, 2018).

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: World-renowned economist Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, explains that we have an opportunity to shape the fourth industrial revolution, which will fundamentally alter how we live and work. Schwab argues that this revolution is different in scale, scope and complexity from any that have come before. Characterized by a range of new technologies that are fusing the physical, digital and biological worlds, the developments are affecting all disciplines, economies, industries and governments, and even challenging ideas about what it means to be human. Artificial intelligence is already all around us, from supercomputers, drones and virtual assistants to 3D printing, DNA sequencing, smart thermostats, wearable sensors and microchips smaller than a grain of sand. But this is just the beginning: nanomaterials 200 times stronger than steel and a million times thinner than a strand of hair and the first transplant of a 3D printed liver are already in development. Imagine “smart factories” in which global systems of manufacturing are coordinated virtually, or implantable mobile phones made of biosynthetic materials. The fourth industrial revolution, says Schwab, is more significant, and its ramifications more profound, than in any prior period of human history. He outlines the key technologies driving this revolution and discusses the major impacts expected on government, business, civil society and individuals. Schwab also offers bold ideas on how to harness these changes and shape a better future—one in which technology empowers people rather than replaces them; progress serves society rather than disrupts it; and in which innovators respect moral and ethical boundaries rather than cross them. We all have the opportunity to contribute to developing new frameworks that advance progress.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Starting a Successful Pet Hotel Business Do you love animals? Are you looking for a career that is recession-proof and always in demand? Would you like to be your own boss? You should start a pet hotel business! I have been in the pet care industry for over a decade. I first started working as a receptionist in my uncle's veterinary clinic at age 18. I had owned dogs and cats in my childhood but never thought about making it a career. When I was thinking about college, I realized that becoming a vet technician was a viable option. When my uncle retired and sold his practice, I worked with the new vet as a tech for a few years. We found ourselves with frequent requests to board animals for the short-term. Usually, these requests came from pet owners who were our usual vet clients going out of town for a few days at a time. We took these dogs and cats in for mostly weekends and holidays. I realized that in my area, the need for quality pet boarding was essential. I started my own pet boarding business out of an old daycare building. The daycare had been closed down for a while, but it had easily convertible facilities for pet boarding. The building had a nearly commercial-sized kitchen and 4 different classrooms, each with its own attached bathroom. It also had a large fenced-in yard which used to have playground equipment and big indoor community space, presumably for assemblies or indoor playtime. A building originally built to house children during the day was easily converted to a building intended to house cats and dogs. My pet boarding business was born on a shoestring budget. In this book, I will show you how to start your own pet hotel from the ground up. This book comes from my personal experiences combined with research that I conducted while starting out years ago. I will show you everything I learned about how to start a dog or cat boarding kennel business (or doggy daycare) so that you can start your business on the right foot. You will learn: What a Typical Day at a Pet Boarding Hotel is Like What Potential Profit this Business Can Bring Why Choosing the Right Location is Important What You Can Expect Your Initial Investment to Be Deciding if This is Right for You What Skills, Experience, and Knowledge is Needed What to Consider Before Starting How to Spot Industry Trends Crafting a Business Plan Advice for Naming Your Business Consider the Owner's Name Advice for Finding Financing Advice on How to Form a Legal Entity What Permits and Licenses You Will Need Insurance Concerns Construction Concerns (for New Builds or Remodels) How to Determine Costs and Pricing Advice for Amenities to Offer Designs for Cat Boarding Helpful Software for Client and Pet Management Marketing Your Business Building an Online Presence How to Use Your Website for Marketing How to Use Facebook for Marketing How to Use Retention Marketing to Keep Clients Daily Operational Considerations Hiring Your First Employee Retaining Good Employees Effective Daily Management Techniques You will learn about all this and more! Additionally, the utmost best income generating assets to create for generating extreme wealth online in the digital era are identified, how to become a highly successful influencer online on social media platforms is elucidated, and the plethora of assorted benefits of becoming a successful influencer online are revealed in this essay. Moreover, how to attain extreme fame leverage is demystified and how to earn substantial money online so that you afford to eminently enrich every aspect of your life is meticulously expounded upon in this essay. Pets are deemed to be tamed animals which reside with you as companions. Pets often reside in the same environments as human beings, such as home environments. Pets are able to provide people with companionship and usher in unalloyed excitement into their lives. A mostly empty room feels all the more lively when it is inhabited by pets. Ushering in a couple dogs or a couple cats into a mostly empty room reinvigorates the atmosphere of the room. A room that provides a solitary environment no longer is an solitary environment when it is inhabited by pets. Pets are often companion animals. Having pets is able to provide a myriad of benefits to people. Pets for instance can help people to alleviate stress and anxiety. Pets for instance can also help people to be motivated to exercise more frequently. Pet can also help people to remedy loneliness and can help people to promote their well-being if they feel at ease as a result of having pets. Spending time with a pet can boost a person's mood and allow them to divert their attention away from the dwelling on stressors, anxieties, fears, and pessimistic thoughts if a person for instance lives an ineffable distressful, harrowing, and agonizing life that undermines their well-being. Diligently taking care of a pet is a major responsibility that not everyone is properly prepared to handle. Diligently taking care of a pet requires a person to constantly tend to the pet's needs and not shirk on doing so. Diligently taking care of a pet can require a substantial amount of time and can be expensive. Not everyone has the wealth to be able to become a pet owner. Certain people are reticent about ushering pets into their home environments since doing so can be an encroachment on the pet's right to liberty. In other words, having a pet entrapped in a home environment is a disservice to a pet since it deprives them of the right to liberty. A fish entrapped in a fish bowl is denied the opportunity to traverse the ocean. A bird entrapped in a bird cage is denied the opportunity to fly across the sky. A frog entrapped in a vivarium tank is denied the opportunity to live in wetlands. A dog entrapped in a home environment is denied the opportunity to live in prairies. A rabbit entrapped in a home environment is denied the opportunity to live in meadows. A cat entrapped in a home environment is denied the opportunity to live in grasslands. A horse entrapped in a horse pen is denied the opportunity to live in prairies. Certain people are deterred to own a pet since they believe that doing so would be an encroachment on the pet's right to liberty which would thereby compromise the pet's quality of life. It can be cumbersome to provide a pet with a higher standard of living then they could reap if they were able to live anywhere in the wild. Not everyone is capable of providing a pet with a higher standard of living then they could reap if they were able to live anywhere in the wild. It does however remain enigmatic if a pet with a mediocre standard of living is happier living with human beings in a home environment.

This book was released on 2020-02-26 with total page 28 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This essay sheds light on why brands should leverage robots and elucidates how robots are being utilize by companies to replace human workers. Moreover, the implications of having a robotic workforce on gross domestic product and jobs is delineated in this essay. A new development that is related to relationship marketing that is likely to emerge as companies strive to become the premium brand in their respective niches is the utilization of robots on a global scale as a mean to provide exceptional value to customers. Robots are perhaps the quintessential employees for brands to leverage since they are far less costly to employ and are not a liability to the company. Robots are also far more productive and efficient at accomplishing specific tasks than humans and do not require a salary nor wage. Moreover, robots do not demand fringe benefits, "cannot make errors as a result of having already been programmed to execute specific tasks flawlessly, never call in sick for work, and will never show up late for work" ("What is a,"). Industrial manufacturing robots, kitchen robots, retail robots, warehouse robots, hospital robots, hotel robots, packaging robots, agricultural robots, semi-automated machines, and automated software processes are becoming more prevalent on a global scale. For instance, the usage of industrial manufacturing robot have been an enormous benefit to the manufacturing industry. The utilization of industrial manufacturing robot has not only rendered the production of products more viable on a global scale along with minimal manufacturing deficiencies and higher quality control standards being upheld, but has also rendered product prices far more affordable. The displacements of a human factory workforce for a robotic workforce has revolutionized the manufacturing industry. Since nearly every job can be broken down into a set specific tasks, robots are continually being programmed to have the capabilities necessary to flawlessly complete the requisite set of tasks for more and more jobs. The usage of robots by brands will become far more profound as robots become more sophisticated and can do far more beyond just completing a set of specific tasks, such as preparing food, transporting luggage, moving around warehouse items, manufacturing products, and providing hospitality services. Artificial Intelligence will likely be able to more effectively communicate with humans and assimilate knowledge more expeditiously as machine learning and other technologies become more advanced. Robots and semi-automated machines are able to provide customers with services instantaneously without making any critical errors. Furthermore, companies can pass on the cost savings associated with having semi-automated machines and robots as part of their workforce to provide customers with lower prices which ultimately renders more value to the prices of the company's brand products. The utilization of robots not only allows "consumers would not only be able to reap a bigger bang for their buck" ("bang for the," ) when procuring products and services, but also become more satisfied with the brand as a result of the brand being able to exceed their expectations in regards to the pricing, quality of service, speed of service, and level of the reliability of the service. Robots should be utilized on a global scale by brands in order to eminently enhance the quality of services that relationship marketing activities can provide to consumers. If the robotics industry were to substantially grow and become mainstream then more markets would be brought to fruition and a copious amount of new jobs would also be created as demand for business robots amplifies. Moreover, gross world product could reach an unprecedented height if nearly all positions for rudimentary jobs were displaced by robot workers which would ultimately allow companies to substantially decrease their labor costs and provide services in a more expeditious manner.

Book excerpt: If you want your business to grow, you need to be able to rely on your ability to hire talent reliably and consistently. No talent pipeline? No growth, and no business. But your recruiting team is drowning (I asked them). They need help. Now, if you ask recruiters, they will ask for headcount. Or more technology. But more bodies and more tools won't solve the issue (though it will eat up your budget). What you need a is a better strategy. And that strategy is called employer branding.Employer branding is about understanding, distilling and communicating what your company is all about in order to attract all the talent you need. That will differentiate your company as a place where people will want to work, rather than a place they land because they didn't know better. If you've heard about employer branding in business magazines, it might seem like something only "big companies" can do. Something that requires a dedicated team, expensive platforms, or a bunch of consultants. That isn't true. If you understand where your brand comes from, and how to apply it, any company (especially yours) can hire better with it.And this book will teach you how to do all of that, and then some.In this book, you'll learn what employer branding really is, how to make a compelling argument internally to leadership that creates commitment, how to work with other teams and be creative in finding solutions. As a special bonus, we are including a handbook on how to work with recruiting teams. This hands-on workbook is chock full of examples, checklists, step-by-step instructions and even emails you can copy and paste to make things happen immediately.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Each year, hospital-acquired infections, prescribing and treatment errors, lost documents and test reports, communication failures, and other problems have caused thousands of deaths in the United States, added millions of days to patients' hospital stays, and cost Americans tens of billions of dollars. Despite (and sometimes because of) new medical information technology and numerous well-intentioned initiatives to address these problems, threats to patient safety remain, and in some areas are on the rise. In First, Do Less Harm, twelve health care professionals and researchers plus two former patients look at patient safety from a variety of perspectives, finding many of the proposed solutions to be inadequate or impractical. Several contributors to this book attribute the failure to confront patient safety concerns to the influence of the "market model" on medicine and emphasize the need for hospital-wide teamwork and greater involvement from frontline workers (from janitors and aides to nurses and physicians) in planning, implementing, and evaluating effective safety initiatives. Several chapters in First, Do Less Harm focus on the critical role of interprofessional and occupational practice in patient safety. Rather than focusing on the usual suspects-physicians, safety champions, or high level management-these chapters expand the list of "stakeholders" and patient safety advocates to include nurses, patient care assistants, and other staff, as well as the health care unions that may represent them. First, Do Less Harm also highlights workplace issues that negatively affect safety: including sleeplessness, excessive workloads, outsourcing of hospital cleaning, and lack of teamwork between physicians and other health care staff. In two chapters, experts explain why the promise of health care information technology to fix safety problems remains unrealized, with examples that are at once humorous and frightening. A book that will be required reading for physicians, nurses, hospital administrators, public health officers, quality and risk managers, healthcare educators, economists, and policymakers, First, Do Less Harm concludes with a list of twenty-seven paradoxes and challenges facing everyone interested in making care safe for both patients and those who care for them.

Book excerpt: In the early 1990s, people predicted the death of privacy, an end to the current concept of 'property,' a paperless society, 500 channels of high-definition interactive television, world peace, and the extinction of the human race after a takeover engineered by intelligent machines. Imagining the Internet zeroes in on predictions about the Internet's future and revisits past predictions—and how they turned out. It gives the history of communications in a nutshell, illustrating the serious impact of pervasive networks and how they will change our lives over the next century.
