Download or read book The Father Confusors written by Renford and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2010-09-15 with total page 490 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The author has published many books, articles and essays that take a metaphysical approach to interpreting ancient texts such as the Vedas, the Dhampravada, the Tao Teh Ching and the Bible. He follows no theological dogma nor adopts any philosophical school. He teaches in the Renford books and in the Institute of Applied Metaphysics that taking a single approach to exclusion of any other will not produce an accurate picture. Some text must be taken metaphysically, some as historical and some as physical events in which the witness had little or no point of reference comparable to ours. In any other approach, one will be interpreting based on a fixed religious tradition or a philosophical bias. We have seen many varations on the idea that alien intervention has taken place in our ancient history but this author has gone into greater depth on the difference between Universal Being and the warrior gods depicted in the ancient texts.

Book Synopsis The River of Life by : Renford , Renford
Download or read book The River of Life written by Renford , Renford and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2009-09-30 with total page 113 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The River of Life is an allegory with many symbols. It is a modern day parable about the eternal nature of being. Everything is a cycle and full of purpose. The being in fulfillment had no beginning and will have no end. It cannot be destroyed. Like a cell of the human body, which can be cloned, the soul is a cell of Universal Being with the same natural power of the whole. There is always communication between the whole and the part, but we are mostly unaware. 'The language of the mind' can only be understood by recognizing the way Inner Being, via the subconscious mind, communicates with the conscious. Only through meditation or dreams, when the conscious mind is induced to be quiet, can Inner Being communicate and conscious mind benefit.

Book Synopsis INTEGRATIVE HOLISTIC HEALTH, HEALING, AND TRANSFORMATION by : Penny Lewis
Download or read book INTEGRATIVE HOLISTIC HEALTH, HEALING, AND TRANSFORMATION written by Penny Lewis and published by Charles C Thomas Publisher. This book was released on 2002-01-01 with total page 367 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The goal of this book is to begin to present the fundamental body of knowledge which informs current approaches in complimentary and alternative medicine and to explore the role of the new professions of integrative holistic health practitioner, consultant and administrator. This book is designed to compliment, enhance, deepen and broaden the reader's existing expertise through an integrative approach which will improve his/her ability to consult, design programs and work in a variety of settings with various populations including those with medical and psychological conditions as well as those who wish to support their health and well-being. The book provides the necessary conceptual foundational frameworks for exploring how practitioners in a field of alternative medicine/holistic health know what they know in support of their work. These core ways of knowing gives them a foundation for evaluating their work, new advances in the field and affords them interrelated frames of knowledge for their continued research, expansion and integrative work in the field. Trained holistic health practitioners who may have applied one or more of these paradigms may now be able to expand their foundational and conceptual base thereby broadening their theory and techniques that are appropriate to their professional arenas. Section I is designed to explore general ways of knowing and meaning making in holistic health. Section II is designed to offer the reader/practitioner methodology regarding the creation and implementation of holistic health centers, programs and integrated consultation practices. Finally, Section III offers examples of integrative holistic health clinicians who combine and synthesize a variety of holistic health approaches and paradigms into their practices as practitioners, healers, therapists and consultants.
Book Synopsis Fast Chemical Reactions in Turbulent Flows by : Rustam Ya Deberdeev
Download or read book Fast Chemical Reactions in Turbulent Flows written by Rustam Ya Deberdeev and published by Smithers Rapra. This book was released on 2013-09-02 with total page 334 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book describes the fundamentals of fast liquid-phase chemical reactions and the principles of their scientific foundation, technical implementation and industrial application of new technologies. In addition, the equipment required to perform these reactions, in a turbulent mode in the chemical, petrochemical and petroleum industries, is also discussed. The macrokinetic approach has been developed with consideration of the diffusion, hydrodynamics, and heat transfer processes. Due to the advancement of fundamental knowledge, equations of practical engineering importance have been obtained for the calculations of mass and heat transfer processes carried out in conditions of high turbulence, and developed for the implementation in fast chemical reactions involving the synthesis of low molecular weight products and polymers. New methods for controlling the molecular characteristics of polymers have been developed based on the tailored regulation of the hydrodynamics of the reactive mixture flow. Typical processes have been used as model examples to reveal the influence of turbulence on the behaviour of fast chemical reactions used for the synthesis of low molecular weight products, in single-phase and two-phase reactive systems. Brand new tubular devices have been developed with the following characteristics: compact size, high productivity, and a quasi-perfect mixing operation mode in turbulent flows. These devices are subdivided into cylindrical, shell-and-tube, 'zone', and diffuser-confusor designs. Original solutions are proposed for the instrumental implementation of fast liquid-phase processes and development of continuous energy- and resource-efficient technologies for the synthesis of some large-scale compounds.

After putting everything on hold to care for her dying father, Ivy Nichols feels lonely and disconnected. She's struggling to jump in and start again--especially when it comes to dating. The mysterious William Cole walks into her life, like a beacon of light in a fog. He's sensual and captivating--awakening Ivy in ways she's never experienced before. But he knows things about her--deeply personal things. His story is unbelievable, but the truth might be worse. Her friends insist he's either a con artist, or he's crazy. With her heart on the line, Ivy has to decide who--and what--she believes. The rational explanation from her trusted friends? Or the impossible story from the man without a past? The man who swears he will do anything to protect her. One thing she is sure of--William doesn't just know facts about her life. He knows her, inside and out. He knows her as intimately as if he's spent every moment of his life loving her. And according to him, he has. Author's note: a steamy, stand-alone contemporary romance with a bit of suspense and a mysterious twist. It will make you question what you know about love, chance, and fate, and keep you turning the pages to find the answer to one question. Who is William Cole?

Book Synopsis Introducing the Core by : William C. Meyers
Download or read book Introducing the Core written by William C. Meyers and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2024-06-01 with total page 1020 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There is no more important area of the body for an athlete than the core, the region of our body from our chest to our knees. The core is our engine, our hub of activity. Strength there makes life easier for shoulders and knees. It produces speed and explosiveness. Endurance and grit. The core is so important. So why has it remained such a medical mystery? This book will explain that. Introducing the Core: Demystifying the Body of an Athlete traces the arc of the journey from injury to restoration of power to the return to normal life. Dr. William Meyers is the nation’s foremost authority on core health. Along with over 40 world-renowned expert contributors, Dr. Meyers explains how the core functions through stories from his work in locker rooms, the operating room, and the playing fields of elite athletes, giving readers a thorough understanding of the core’s widespread influence on athleticism and the human anatomy. The book: Dissects the events that led Dr. Meyers and his team of experts to their new appreciation of this anatomy Brings multiple world-renowned arthroscopists into the overall core picture, providing their perspectives on how the core works, with the pubic bone as “the sun” of the body’s universe Offers insight into the many causes of pelvic pain, demonstrating why the term “sports hernia,” should be banished forever Emphasizes the fact that a wide spectrum of professionals treat the core -- from traditional surgeons to alternative therapists Brings it all together and proposes a new future, and perhaps a new medical specialty, that is the core “Strength, power, and endurance all flow from the core. This book, and the work Bill Meyers has done in the field, will bring good core health to the forefront and help everyone—elite athletes and others.” —Michael William Krzyzewski “Even in baseball, injury patterns in the shoulder and elbow are related to core imbalance. This book has been needed for a long time... Bill has helped the idea of core strength become more popular, and this book could be what is needed to get it more attention.” —James Rheuben Andrews, MD “To understand the core, you must put on new eyes.” —Marshawn Lynch
