Book excerpt: The alarm is sounding. Are you ready? Our generation has likewise reached the final stages of God's grace and mercy.and those who have been faithful to walk with God will soon be removed so that "the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night" (1 Thessalonians 5: 2-9). Remember Enoch received his rapture by faith (Hebrews 11: 5-6), and Jesus is the author and finisher of the believers faith (Hebrews 12: 2) in this final generation. As the church's final hour draws to an end and the Enoch Generation prepares for the moment when Jesus takes her as its reward for living faithfully, holy, and true to her bridegroom, will you be ready? In this book you will learn: 1. Why we are in the season of spiritual and moral decline. 2. How witchcraft has entered the church. 3. The spirit of Elijah and true revival. 4. Why we need a new visitation of fire from heaven. 5. God's spiritual requirements for every generation. 6. The necessity of living the life of holiness. 7. God's End Times promise of restoration to the church and our nation. R. J. Billings has spent most of his twenty-nine years of ministry as pastor and teacher living in and learning about God's lessons in the desert. His ministry and writing style are patterned prophetically in the passionate revival fire of an Elijah or John, the Baptist. The church in America needs the restoration of a true prophetic voice that represents the heart of God, not human traditions or dogmas of men. R. J. Billings has traveled throughout Canada and the United States and has written three books; The Enoch Generation, The Elijah Generation, and The Glorious Church. He holds earned degrees from Northwest College (B.A.) and Trinity Theological Seminary(M.A. and M. Div.). R. J. Billings has been married to his wife Rachel for over twenty-eight years and has four wonderful adult children that together serve as a continuous inspiration for his ministry and writing.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One might ask why there is so much interest in this obscure little apocryphal book written under the assumed name Enoch? If we look at the book of Luke where Jesus is describing for His disciples the time of His return in Luke 17:26 "Just as it was in the days of Noah, so will it be in the days of the Son of Man. They were eating and drinking and marrying and being given in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all." We may want to know in greater detail just exactly what it was like during the time of Noah. Reading the first chapter of the Book of Enoch we find "Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling, and the eternal God will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai, and appear from His camp and appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens." So not only does Luke and Mathew for that matter tell us that Jesus return will come at time like the time of Noah and the flood, but the Book of Enoch begins by telling us it is written not for those of Enoch's generation, but for a generation in the distant future when the Holy Great One will tread upon the earth and He will appear in the strength of His might from the Heaven of Heavens. From The reference in the Letter of Jude 1:15 quoting Enoch regarding the return of Jesus, to the passages in Mathew and Luke regarding the time of Christ's return to be like the time of Noah, and considering Enoch's claim to be written for the elect of the generation alive during the time of the Holy Great One's coming to Earth I believe the Book of Enoch deserves a serious read.

Book excerpt: Female habit carries with it a twofold idea--dress and ornament. By "dress" we mean what they call "womanly gracing;" by "ornament," what it is suitable should be called "womanly disgracing." The former is accounted (to consist) in gold, and silver, and gems, and garments; the latter in care of the hair, and of the skin, and of those parts of the body which attract the eye. Against the one we lay the charge of ambition, against the other of prostitution; so that even from this early stage (of our discussion) you may look forward and see what, out of (all) these, is suitable, handmaid of God, to your discipline, inasmuch as you are assessed on different principles (from other women), --those, namely, of humility and chastity.

Book excerpt: Within every born-again believer resides the seed of God. Whoever possesses this seed also possesses the nature of God and His kingdom, and consequently, has the capacity to walk in Christlikeness and perform any exploit we read of in the Bible. "The Enoch Generation" is a revelation of who Christ is in us and of our remarkable calling and destiny in Christ. We will explore the crucial role of Israel in releasing God's resurrection power to His body in these last days. Remove the shroud of mystery that has enveloped the identity of the two witnesses in the Book of Revelation, and discover the astonishing significance of the rapture. This book serves as a call to rise up and take possession of our full inheritance. Before the end of this age, there will be a righteous generation that, being filled with the fullness of God, will overcome sin, conquer the grave, and usher in God's eternal kingdom. We can be this generation.

Book excerpt: The Emergence Of A New Generation is a wake-up call for today's youth in the Body of Christ to rise up and pursue their God given assignment, dreams and purposes. In every generation, God has an agenda. Now, the current influx of youthful men and women participating in business, politics, technology, religion and other spheres of life is an indication that there's a new generation of young men and women emerging to take over the affairs of their generation. “One generation passeth away, and another generation cometh…” (Ecclesiastes 1:4).The Emergence of a New Generation is a bold declaration that the youths of today are well positioned for exploits. This book calls on every young person to position themselves and achieve great things for the Lord. Because of the magnitude of work involved in Kingdom living, every believer must aspire to become God's best. This book will let you understand that God has an assignment for every believer. “The harvest is truly great, but the labourers are few.” The Emergence of A New Generation combines Biblical, Contemporary Christian and business history to provide precedence of young people's involvement in the past to impact their generation. Genesis 15:13-14 is the premise on which this book is written. In a single vision, God spoke about two different generations in the context of the Scriptures above. If you are familiar with the biblical accounts of Abraham's descendants' servitude in Egypt, it is clear that it was through Joseph the Israelites went to Egypt. Genesis 15:13 was fulfilled through Joseph. After he was sold into slavery, his brothers later joined him in Egypt. Exodus 1:6 captures Joseph and his brothers as a generation. "And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation."After Genesis 15:13 was fulfilled through Joseph, God, who works with generations set in motion the fulfilment of vs14 by the birth of Moses. "And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi. And the woman conceived, and bare a son [Moses]…." (Exodus 2:1-2).Remember it was Moses who took the Israelites out of Egypt with “great substance” after four hundred and thirty years (Exodus 12:36; 40). I believe we cannot separate our future from our history. To know where you are going, you must know where you are coming from. History helps us to make informed decisions about the future. Without history, there will be no information to “forecast” the future. Also I believe prophesy and history are inseparable. They go hand in hand. By history, we can “read” the mind of God through His word. If you are a student of the Bible, you should also be a student of the history of the Bible. This book also takes you through the lives of some prominent leaders who started out as young persons and today are doing great things for the Lord. The Emergence of A New Generation is also an in-depth exposition of Scriptures, which will leave a lasting desire for the Word of God in you. Written for the youth, this book will empower you to live victoriously for the Lord. This is truly the right time for every youth to manifest. What are you waiting for to launch into your destiny? I believe your time is now. Take that bold step towards whatever God has planted in your heart. Now, no matter how long we live, one day we will have to depart; it's inevitable because “…it is appointed unto men once to die….” (Hebrews 9:27). Even if you live to be 100, your strength will not be the same. It's now or never! If you have anything and any dreams on your heart, time is not on your side. Rise up and do what has to be done. Posterity will scorn you if you don't live what you were created to be. Lest I forget, let me inform you that one day you will answer to your Creator for how you lived your life here including how you used your gifts.

Book excerpt: A valuable survey of Jewish and Christian textual references to an understudied Old Testament figure Credited with predicting the flood and foretelling a second punishment but mentioned only briefly in the Hebrew Bible, Enoch is one of the most intriguing yet little-known characters of ancient Jewish and Christian literature. Genesis devotes just four verses to Enoch; yet this man became a central figure in many of the oldest surviving Jewish legends of apocalypse, the subject of a larger number of traditions during the intertestamental period, and a significant character in early Christian writing. In this examination of ancient references to Enoch and to Enochian themes, James C. VanderKam illumines the range of ancient testimonies to the man, his teachings, and his work. As he introduces readers to the mostly extrabiblical traditions surrounding Enoch, VanderKam addresses the significant question of how the canon of the Hebrew Bible came to be decided. He also uses the Enochian literature as a point of departure for an analysis of the apocalyptic literary tradition and the historical connection between Jewish and Mesopotamian thought.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Holy Spirit inspired Jude to quote Enoch for a reason. The Ancient Book of Enoch opens by addressing those in the Tribulation period. It contains numerous prophecies about the flood and fire judgments, and the two comings of the Messiah. It teaches that the Messiah is the Son of God and that He will shed His blood to redeem us and even predicts the generation that this would occur! The book of Enoch prophesies a window of time in which the Second Coming would occur and prophesies that there will be twenty-three Israeli Prime Ministers ruling in fifty-eight terms from AD 1948 to the beginning of the Tribulation period, and much more. Even though it prophecies that the Bible would be created and says we will be judged by our obedience to the Bible, it also makes it clear that this book is not to be added to the Canon of Scripture. The Ancient Book of Enoch recounts the history of the angels that fell in the days of Jared, Enoch's father. It testifies to their marriages with human women and their genetic experiments. This commentary includes a previously unknown chapter from the Dead Sea Scrolls that actually explains how they did their genetic tampering. The commentary is from a fundamentalist Christian view, brought to you by Biblefacts Ministries, biblefacts.org.

This book was released on 2011-07-01 with total page 162 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book "Enoch, What Does Heaven Look Like?" is the story of Enoch's amazing journey into the heavens, where he meets with specific angels that lead him on a trip through the various dimensions of the heavens, and eventually to the Throne of God. This book is meant to give the reader a general description of what heaven looks like from the perspective of the man who walked with God named Enoch; the great-grandfather of Noah (Genesis 5:22-29). For the Bible says (Genesis 5:24) that Enoch "walked with God: and he was not; for God took him." Enoch is listed in the Bible and the Apocryphal works. While Enoch is in heaven he receives revelation from God and the archangels about the first seven days of God's creation of the universe; and the mysteries of the wonders of the various heavens while he visits there. This story of Enoch's epic adventure is an adaptation taken from the Holy Bible, and the book of Enoch, and is written in three parts. The first part of this book is based on an adaptation of the Bible's book of Genesis, and is written from the perspective of Enoch's description of the revelation that he get from the Lord, regarding the first seven days of God's Genesis of creation. The second part of this book is meant to give a general description of what heaven looks like, and is an adaptation based on the "Book of Enoch" and the revelation that Enoch receives from the Lord God, as the archangels lead Enoch through the various dimensions of the heavens showing him the wonders that exists there. The third part of this book described in the last two chapters is an adaptation from the Bible and the "Book of Enoch" regarding the revelation that Enoch receives about the Throne of the God, and the revelation of Jesus the Christ, the Son of God, the Son of Man. The work in this book is not the original "Book of Enoch" letter by letter, but is an adaptation taken from the "Book of Enoch" and the Holy Bible. This book is written in story form and is also a form of poetry; and is not meant to be considered the cannon of Holy Scripture.
