Book excerpt: John Christian, his family and circle of friends lived just a couple of weeks before the Rapture and didn't know it neither did Satan. The battle of ideas between the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood raged to the limit. Angles and demons influenced the characters, through spiritual warfare, to choose between right and wrong. When the Rapture occurred, some of the characters, who walked the narrow path, graduated to the heavenly scene. While those who walked the wide path went to the underworld and awaited Judgment, or stayed behind to face the Tribulation. In a Tribulation, seven years of a continuous Halloween on earth, Satan tricked people and didn't offer any treats. Meanwhile, in Heaven, the Believers went through the Jesus Rewards program, a Cosmic battle, a Wedding, and a Supper. Finally, the Great Tribulation ended when 666 ran into 777 at Armageddon. The three groups then lived out their new environments to one of two final destinations determined by which side they took, God or Satan. Those who were like wheat, ended up in Heaven. Those who were like tares, ended up in Hell. Find out who goes where. www.getbehindme-satan.com Mike Yousif, was born a Christian in Iraq. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: THE FIRST BOOK BY A CONFIRMED SURVIVOR OF TED BUNDY, AND THE ONLY MEMOIR TO CHALLENGE THE POPULAR NARRATIVE OF BUNDY AS A HANDSOME KILLER WHO CHARMED HIS VICTIMS INTO TRUSTING HIM In January 1978, I slept in my bed at the Chi Omega sorority house at Florida State University as Ted Bundy stalked nearby. He grabbed an oak log from a stack of firewood, slipped through a back door with a broken padlock, and headed upstairs. He began twisting doorknobs. Room 9 was open, and he quietly and quickly killed one of my sleeping sorority sisters. Across the hall, he found another unlocked door and murdered again. Then, he turned the knob to my bedroom and found it was open. I remember the attack vividly. Bundy bashed me once in the head with the log and then attacked my roommate. He heard me moaning and came to finish me off. He never let his victims live. But he stopped suddenly when a bright light filled the room. He fled the sorority house and the light disappeared. Bundy wasn't my first brush with death, and he wasn't my last. I've long been a survivor. I was born into a Cuban American family in 1957 in Florida. I had a happy childhood until I received my first death sentence at the age of thirteen. Physicians weren't sure why I was always so exhausted and running a low-grade fever. The prognosis was grim after my left kidney started to fail. Then, a physician from Cuba saved my life with a surprise diagnosis—lupus—and treatment plan: chemotherapy. I endured chemotherapy again in my early thirties when I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. This is my story of surviving three death sentences and finding love and happiness along the way. I was saved by a bright light, and I hope my story is one for people who are experiencing their own dark times. I am a victim, but I am also a survivor, and I want to speak up for all the women and girls whom Bundy murdered. He has become a legend, and our voices have been muted or ignored. It's time we were heard.

Book Synopsis Fear Gone Wild by : Kayla Stoecklein
Download or read book Fear Gone Wild written by Kayla Stoecklein and published by Thomas Nelson. This book was released on 2020-09-08 with total page 220 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A pastor's wife's shattering yet ultimately hopeful story of her husband's death by suicide, her journey to understand mental illness, and the light she found in the darkness. On August 25, 2018, Kayla Stoecklein lost her husband, Andrew--megachurch pastor of Inland Hills Church in Chino, California--to suicide. In the wake of the tragedy, she embarked on a brave journey to better understand his harrowing battle with mental illness and, ultimately, to overcome the stigma of suicide. Fear Gone Wild is her intimate account of all that led to that tragic day, including her husband's panic attacks and debilitating bouts of anxiety and depression. Despite their deep faith in God and the countless prayers of many believers, Andrew was never healed of his illness. Turning to Scripture for answers, she discovered that God uses wilderness experiences to prepare His children--including Jesus--for his greater purpose and to work miracles inside our souls. With a clear-eyed acknowledgment of how misguided and misinformed she was about mental illness, Kayla Stoecklein shares her story in hopes that anyone walking through the wilderness of mental illness will be better equipped for the journey and will learn to put their hope in Jesus through it all.
