Unfortunately, there is still a lack of good Sunday School music and for my stories I have frequently been obliged to suggest songs for the sake of the words, though the music was unsatisfactory. Too many songs should not be given, as it is bet ter to have a few thoroughly learned than many only partially committed. Though new songs have some times been suggested ou successive Sundays, it has been intended that a choice should be made from them, not that all should be used.
