We trust our readers will also appreciate the prompt production of the Index for the volume which has just been completed. Neither time, money nor trouble have been spared in the preparation of this exhaustive analysis of the contents of the volume. It contains (including table of cases) 47 pages of closely printed matter, and is in effect a digest in condensed form of all principal matters of interest to the legal profession in the English speaking Pro vinces, which have transpired both there and in England during the past year. We thank many of our readers for their kindly expression of appreciation for the increased usefulness of the journal, and their flattering comments on the enterprise displayed. The most substantial evidence of this is a very large increase in circulation. We shall spare no effort to retain the good opinion of our rapidly increasing circle of friends and patrons.
