Und wenn ja: bringt der Einsatz im Unterricht überhaupt einen Mehrwert für den Lernerfolg der Kinder und falls ja: welchen? Diesen Fragen soll in der vorliegenden Arbeit nachgegangen werden. Neue Medien sind seit einigen Jahren ein immer beliebteres Einsatzmittel im schulischen Alltag. Neben dem Einsatz von Computern sowie White- und Smartboards wird seit einiger Zeit auch das Tablet vermehrt im Unterrichtskontext eingesetzt. Die Bezeichnung tablet lässt sich dabei ganz einfach mit den Begriffen Notiz-block oder Schreibtafel übersetzen. Aufgrund der aktuellen Thematik wird zu Beginn der Arbeit ein theoretischer Einblick in den Fachbereich der Medienpädagogik gegeben. Hierbei sollen vor allem die Medienerziehung, -kompetenz und -didaktik beleuchtet werden. Da Tablets bisher häufig nur an Regelschulen eingesetzt werden, soll diese Arbeit den inklusiven Unterricht fokussieren, weshalb dieser ebenfalls kurz in der Theorie beschrieben wird.
