Für diesen Vergleich habe ich mich für folgende drei Elterntrainings entschieden: Gordons "Familienkonferenz", "Triple P" und die Erziehungs-CD-ROM "Freiheit in Grenzen". In Kapitel 1 wird zunächst allgemein auf den Begriff »Elterntraining« eingegangen. Hierzu erfolgt eine Definition des Begriffes, wobei auf die Ziele und Aufgaben von Elterntrainings näher eingegangen wird. Darüber hinaus werden Merkmale genannt, mittels denen die verschiedenen Elterntrainings unterschieden werden können. Danach werden unterschiedliche didaktische Hilfsmittel angeführt, die in Elterntrainings zur Gestaltung und Wissensvermittlung während der Seminare angewendet werden können. Da Elterntrainings vor allem zur Verminderung von unangepasstem Verhalten von Kindern dienen, gehe ich in einem gesonderten Teil (Exkurs) auf Trainings ein, die sich auf die Delinquenzrisikoverminderung spezialisiert haben. In Kapitel 2 wird der Untersuchungsansatz zum systematischen Vergleich der Elterntrainings dargestellt. Dabei wird auf die Auswahlkriterien der zu untersuchenden Elterntrainings eingegangen. Nachfolgend führe ich Kriterien zum optimalen Aufbau eines Elterntrainings an. Diese Kriterien beziehen sich hauptsächlich auf die Ausführungen von Minsel (1975) und Baker (in Weidenmann et al., 1994). Für den systematischen Vergleich stelle ich dann zum Abschluss in Kapitel 2 Kriterien auf, die insbesondere auf formale Aspekte sowie inhaltliche Aussagen eingehen. Die inhaltlichen Kriterien beziehen sich auf die Unterpunkte: Kosten, Internetauftritt, Zeitaufwand, Qualitätssicherung und Erreichbarkeit der Seminare. In Bezug der formalen Kriterien wird auf den theoretischen Hintergrund, die Vermittlungsmethoden sowie die Erziehungsstile und Erziehungsverhalten näher eingegangen. Um einen systematischen Vergleich der einzelnen Elterntrainings durchführen zu können, gehe ich in Kapitel 3 zunächst näher auf die einzelnen Trainings ein. Zu diesem Zweck wird das Konzept der Elterntrainings dargestellt, sowie auf die verschiedenen Erziehungsmethoden (z.B. die des Grenzensetzens), die in den Seminaren vermittelt werden, eingegangen. Zusätzlich erfolgt die Vorstellung des Ablaufes bzw. Aufbaues der Elterntrainings, wobei gesondert auf die einzelnen Kursinhalte hingewiesen wird. In Kapitel 4 und 5 wird dann der Vergleich der Elterntrainings vorgenommen. [...]

The major debates in language acquisition theory today focus not on whether there are some sensitivities to syntactic information but rather which sensitivities are available to children and how they might be translated into the organizing principles that get syntactic learning off the ground. The Origins of Grammar presents a synthesis of work done by the authors, who have pioneered one of the most important methodological advances in language learning in the past decade: the intermodal preferential looking paradigm, which can be used to assess lexical and syntactic knowledge in children as young as 13 months. In addition to drawing together their groundbreaking empirical work, the authors use these results to describe a theory of language learning that emphasizes the role of multiple cues and forces in development. They show how infants shift their reliance on different aspects of the linguistic input, moving from a bias to attend to prosodic information to a reliance on semantic information, and finally to a reliance on the syntax itself.
