Further, hepatic histopathological assessments of preneoplastic lesions are carried out and correlated with the morphometric findings. Expression of proliferating cell nuclear antigen (PCNA), Bromodeoxyuridine (BrdU) and metallothionein (MT) are studied by enzyme labeled immunochemistry.
