The third paper, "Behavioral Transfer and Maintenance Programs for Adolescent and Adult Stutterers" by E. Perkins considers the question of automaticity of fluent speech and whether it can be achieved and maintained through speech therapy. In "Body Concept, Self Concept and Balance," E.
