It is represented as having a creeping caudex, copious slender stipites a span and more long, fronds of the same length, venation of Goniopteris, sori on the middle of the veinlets subrotund or oblong; the figure however shows the sori (really always invola crate) to be those of a Polypodium rather than of Gymnogramme.
