Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thousands of years ago, human civilizations were slaves to Gods & Titans. In truth, these beings were merely aliens, non-immortal human-like life forms from a world called Sonora. A war broke out that ended their rule on humanity, led by the famously known, so-called Gods of ancient civilizations. Victorious, the Gods of Earth established an order of Guardians, tasked to defend humans against the unauthorized passage of Sonorian invaders. Many years later, the balance of power shifts, and the King of Sonora is murdered by a malevolent General who seeks ultimate power. As this new King's power grows, evil forces takeover in Sonora, and eventually push that world toward the brink of war. The Guardians of Earth are now at a precipice, and their only hope is to protect the Sonorian rebellion and hope that they can find a way to defeat this new King before he amasses an army large enough to invade Earth. Sasquatch, one of the most famous Guardians, monitors the gateway in North America where a group of Sonorian rebels have assimilated into the small mountain community of Sandy, Oregon. His task becomes even more complicated when he learns that he must protect the last bloodline of the rightful heir to the Sonorian throne. Allora is unaware of her alien and royal heritage until she becomes the victim of a malicious prank. Embarrassed in front of her peers, her emotions become overwhelming, causing her hands to burst into flames. The sudden and public outburst projects an energy signature that attracts assassins to the small town. Allora and her friends Tanner, Dax, and Katie must learn the ways of combat, master the art of the sword, and harness the ability to focus energized molecules, called hadrons, in order to meet their destiny and become true Sonorian warriors. Their only hope for survival is an ancient artifact, known as the Eye of the Titans. To find it, Allora, Katie, Dax, and Tanner must solve complex riddles, fight mythical creatures, and navigate a magical cavern maze, all the while enduring advanced calculus, jealous cheerleading girlfriends, and the much anticipated prom.

The world of Sonora is at war, and the only hope against the onslaught of the Titan army lies with the last royal decedent of Zeus, who is being covertly sheltered on Earth in the secluded mountain town of Sandy, Oregon. Allora is a shy, intelligent sixteen-year-old, trying to get through the gauntlet of high school while coming to terms with her otherworldly origins. After getting into a fight at soccer tryouts, Allora's emotions boil over, and her hands suddenly burst into flames. She has harnessed the power of hadrons at the highest level, but at extreme cost. The magical outburst projects an energy signature that is detected by a group of assassins tasked with killing Sonoran rebels. To survive, Allora, Katie, Dax, and Tanner must find a powerful ancient artifact known as the Eye of the Titans. With the help of a guardian known as Sasquatch, they will have to fight off creatures, solve complex riddles, and navigate magical caverns, all while enduring advanced calculus, jealous girlfriends, and prom.

It will also awaken a dormant enemy who's been waiting for the right time to strike. At the end of the Rebel Wars, a sleeper agent, code-named Hades, wreaked havoc among the Guardians. The information he passed on to the King of Sonora led to the death of many high ranking agents, including Allora's uncle and Sas' father. Now, he's been activated again. The only way that Allora can expose the traitor is to find the one item that he covets most. Hades is after an ancient scroll from the lost city of Alexandria, which carries a key piece of information that could lead to the destruction of Earth. Allora will test her limits, face new enemies, and figure out that in the game of secrets, no one is safe.

Book excerpt: After searching for sixty years for a long-lost gold mine known as the Adams Diggings, Ralph Reynolds tells all hes learned. This is a rousing tale of Apache cunning and Yankee gullibility. And its a story of lost lives, emptied souls, and misguided senses in a land of magnificent mountains, mesas, and canyons. His book delivers evidence that three or more prospecting parties were massacred after they located the diggings and the startling implications of these events. And most rewardingly, it tells how, and most likely from where, the gold nuggets were clandestinely removed late in the nineteenth century and why and where the mother lode may soon be found.

Book excerpt: "[Hogan] once again demonstrates his mastery"-Publisher's Weekly **** ..".on the cutting edge of technology...Hogan's talent carries the reader from peak to peak in the story"-Booklist **** "In the grand tradition of the classic super-science stories, but with more exciting science and with better writing too. What more can anyone want?"-Isaac Asimov **** In this spectacular sequel to the acclaimed Code of the Lifemaker, James Hogan returns to the strange world of Titan, inhabited by bizarre self-conscious robots. **** Little is known about the civilization that gave birth to these machine intelligences until scientists discover blocks of embedded computer code that appear to be strangely out of place. **** Reactivating the computer codes results in the re-awakening of ancient alien beings, creators of the strange robot culture, totally alien and immensely powerful. And they are unhappy at being restrained within the narrow confines of the machines they find themselves in. They would much rather be the masters of all. **** But while the scientists are helpless against these mighty beings, Karl Zambendord, the media-star 'Psychic' and his support team prepares to meet the challenge. **** The alien intelligences might be intellectually superior and super rational, but this also makes them hyper-materialistic and mechanistic in their outlook and hence, totally unprepared for such "higher" concepts as the spiritual, the mystical, and the transcendental. And selling such notions is precisely Zambendorf's stock in trade
