On September 16, 1885, she was married to Dr. Samuel Plantz, now president of Lawrence College. She was a model pastor's wife, endearing herself to all by her sweetness and kindness. A great part of President Plantz's success in building up Lawrence College is due to his wife's efforts. How little can bare biographical facts tell of the life of a soul!
