These areas, although designated by single symbols are described as complexes of the soils described. In several cases the members of the complexes were delineated as separate bodies where they were large enough. In a few instances some of the soils were so intermixed that they could not be delineated separately. Since vegetation is strongly influenced by soils, many of these complex units resulted in complexes of range sites as well.
