Las prácticas 3 y 4 también se basan en circuitos de DC, en la práctica 3 se explican todas las opciones posibles de simulación para este tipo de circuito y en la 4, se explica el análisis tipo Barrido DC Sweep, que permite estudiar el comportamiento de un circuito para diferentes valores en los componentes. En las prácticas 5 y 6 se estudian los transitorios de 1er y 2º orden respectivamente. Para los circuitos de primer orden se pretende que el estudiante aprecie con detalle la carga y descarga de un condensador, utilizando para ello diversos tipos de circuitos (con interruptores y con generadores de pulsos), y en la práctica de segundo orden se presentan todos los tipos de respuesta tanto para el circuito RLC serie, como para el RLC paralelo, de forma que el alumno reconozca las distintas formas de onda que presenta cada tipo de respuesta. Por último, en la práctica 7 se estudian los dos tipos de simulaciones de PSpice Student 9.1. © que permiten el análisis de circuitos en AC, Transient y Análisis AC Sweep.

Using PSpice of MiscroSim to simulate power converters sometimes brings awkward complications such as the simulation of real magnetic components. It deals a little bit of work to bring a good agreement between experimental and simulated results. Simulation with linear inductors or transformers does not produce good results. The reason is that real magnetic components present saturation and hysteresis, a phenomenon that characterises magnetic materials. The hysteresis or B-H loop of a magnetic component is highly dependent on frequency, waveform (not very important for ferrite material), temperature, excitation level, etc. Although PSpice includes in its magnetic library a list of non-linear components, rarely these parameters are coincident with our working conditions or simply they are not specified. In all of these cases it is necessary the modelling of non-linear magnetic cores for each particular application. Here we present a systematic procedure to obtain real PSpice parameters to model magnetic materials using the Jiles & Atherton theory. The procedure is totally general and models the static B-H loop given by any manufacturer as well as the one that can be obtained in accordance with some specific working conditions. This is really important, since it helps the designer in obtaining model parameters for any high frequency applications, which are not correctly presented in PSpice libraries. The modelled magnetic material is used for power electronics circuit simulation, which uses magnetic materials, working at frequencies in the region of kH, to construct transformers and inductors. Magnetic materials are the most critical components in electronics simulators due to their non-linear behaviour. This work examines the modelling of the magnetic core hysteresis for high-frequency applications. As example of application, a buck converter with their inductor working near saturation is implemented and their experimental waveforms are compared with the simulated ones obtained with this model. With this procedure a good concordance between experimental and simulated B-H loop is obtained and the simulation of the power converter is reached properly.

Decolonizing Science in Latin American Art assembles a new corpus of art-science projects by Latin American artists, ranging from big-budget collaborations with NASA and MIT to homegrown experiments in artists’ kitchens. While they draw on recent scientific research, these art projects also ‘decolonize’ science. If increasing knowledge of the natural world has often gone hand-in-hand with our objectification and exploitation of it, the artists studied here emphasize the subjectivity and intelligence of other species, staging new forms of collaboration and co-creativity beyond the human. They design technologies that work with organic processes to promote the health of ecosystems, and seek alternatives to the logics of extractivism and monoculture farming that have caused extensive ecological damage in Latin America. They develop do-it-yourself, open-source, commons-based practices for sharing creative and intellectual property. They establish critical dialogues between Western science and indigenous thought, reconnecting a disembedded, abstracted form of knowledge with the cultural, social, spiritual, and ethical spheres of experience from which it has often been excluded. Decolonizing Science in Latin American Art interrogates how artistic practices may communicate, extend, supplement, and challenge scientific ideas. At the same time, it explores broader questions in the field of art, including the relationship between knowledge, care, and curation; nonhuman agency; art and utility; and changing approaches to participation. A major contribution of the book is the development of generalized Malliavin calculus in the framework of white noise analysis, based on chaos expansion representation of stochastic processes and its application for solving several classes of stochastic differential equations with singular data involving the main operators of Malliavin calculus. In addition, applications in optimal control and numerical approximations are discussed. The book is divided into four chapters. The first, entitled White Noise Analysis and Chaos Expansions, includes notation and provides the reader with the theoretical background needed to understand the subsequent chapters. In Chapter 2, Generalized Operators of Malliavin Calculus, the Malliavin derivative operator, the Skorokhod integral and the Ornstein-Uhlenbeck operator are introduced in terms of chaos expansions. The main properties of the operators, which are known in the literature for the square integrable processes, are proven using the chaos expansion approach and extended for generalized and test stochastic processes. Chapter 3, Equations involving Malliavin Calculus operators, is devoted to the study of several types of stochastic differential equations that involve the operators of Malliavin calculus, introduced in the previous chapter. Fractional versions of these operators are also discussed. Finally, in Chapter 4, Applications and Numerical Approximations are discussed. Specifically, we consider the stochastic linear quadratic optimal control problem with different forms of noise disturbances, operator differential algebraic equations arising in fluid dynamics, stationary equations and fractional versions of the equations studied – applications never covered in the extant literature. Moreover, numerical validations of the method are provided for specific problems."
