These disabilities range from vision impairment to dementia and even autism. This study will analyze how to treat people with disabilities, sensitivity training techniques in the workplace, and how to apply techniques learned to the disabled community. Research was done with the use of two different approaches to sensitivity training techniques, four books, seven journal articles, and four websites. Three major points of focus for the Symposium will be inclusion, sensitivity training, and current trends in museum access. Sensitivity training will concentrate on activities through interactive exercises, guest speakers who are experts, and modifying touch tours in the museum. The purpose of the Symposium is to create a shift in empathy towards our disabled community through sensitivity training.
