The first two topical volumes will cover organic electrochemistry and asymmetric catalysis.Asymmetric synthesis initiated by metal catalysts is, of course, not a new topic and asymmetric reduction and epoxidation of alkenes, in particular, are major subject areas covered widely in the Supplements to the 2nd Edition of Rodd's Chemistry of the Carbon Compounds.
