The General Plan supersedes and replaces the 1994 General Plan. The General Plan carries forward some of the major goal and policy framework of the 1994 General Plan, but has been substantially updated to address current local conditions, community priorities, and goals, and has been reorganized to make the document more user friendly and straightforward. The General Plan includes the following elements: land use; circulation; community services and facilities; conservation and open space; noise; community character; safety; economic vitality; community health and wellness; housing element.
