Book excerpt: Download for FREE with Kindle Unlimited This is a 8,000 words EROTIC stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Melissa has been a prodigy violinist from an early age. When she gets pregnant her senior year in college, she loses everything. She loses her boyfriend, and her chair in the philharmonic. Five years later, she has learned that value of life outside of music. She still loves music, but knows it doesn't define her life. She is more than just one thing. Enter Robbie Peterson. He is a star professional athlete, but he is injured. He is struggling to find meaning in life outside of football. When he and Melissa meet by chance, can their bond save him? Will they each find fulfillment in each other? ---------------------------------------------------------- EXCERPT FROM BOOK Melissa found herself, unexpectedly, to be having a good time. The two of them talked and laughed all the way back to his building. When they got there, she looked up and saw where they were. She knew he was wealthy, but wow. She was even more surprised when she found out that he lived on the very top floor. Her apartment was about the size of the elevator they rode up on with an attendant. It was a whole new world in which she found herself. She did her best not be amazed by the marble floors of his penthouse, or of the sheer scope of the place. She kept her eyes down most of the time, otherwise they would wander and examine every square inch of the place. "You have a beautiful home," she said. "Oh, thanks," Robbie said, uncorking a bottle of wine. "I guess so. I don't usually spend so much time here. I travel a lot for work. If you walked around the place you'd see a lot of closed doors. That's because most of the rooms are empty. No furniture. I suppose I should fix that." Robbie seemed genuinely interested in Melissa's music and what it was like to play the violin. It had been a long time since Melissa had been asked such basic questions about music with such fervor and desire to learn. She could see why Robbie had succeeded in life. He had a desire to understand that most people couldn't touch. She was very like him. A person had to be that way in order to play the violin well. She didn't simply learn to play the violin. She learned everything about the violin and how it worked, and everything about the music and its creation that was played on the instrument. AUTHOR'S NOTE: This is a 8,000 word stand-alone story with an HEA, so no cliff-hangers! Story contains mature themes and language, and is intended for 18+ readers only.

Book excerpt: If you've ever seen your teenage crush ten years later, and he turns out to be a complete jerk, then you know how Molly Ward feels. The last time she saw Noah Griffin was the regrettable day that she decided to climb into his bedroom window and turn her unrequited crush into something more. That day was bad enough, but things are about to get worse. Noah has become one of the best football players in the country, and he's just landed on Molly's front step. As a new addition to the Washington Wolves roster, Noah's presence is the key to Molly's promotion in the front office. The problem is, Noah wants nothing to do with Molly, and his surly attitude is making her job very difficult. But he's got another thing coming if he thinks Molly will be intimidated by one grumpy football player, no matter how much he hates being around her. Once these two go head to head, their mutual dislike explodes into undeniable chemistry. But with what they have at stake, they just might detonate everything else along with it.

Book excerpt: Johnny Maverick is a lot of things. Great hockey player. Loyal friend. Rule breaker. Always up for a good time. And now, he’s my new roommate. It’s only for a few weeks while I intern for the Wildcats—his new NHL team. And there are some pros to living with my hot and ridiculous friend (or is that ridiculously hot?). He’s fun and unexpectedly sweet, and he reminds me not to take myself too seriously. I had no intention of breaking the one rule given to me on my first day on the job: no sleeping with the players. And if I had, I never dreamed that player would be Johnny Maverick. Book excerpt: A brand-new standalone novel in the New York Times bestselling Briar U series! What I learned after last year’s distractions cost my hockey team our entire season? No more screwing up. No more screwing, period. As the new team captain, I need a new philosophy: hockey and school now, women later. Which means that I, Hunter Davenport, am officially going celibate…no matter how hard that makes things. But there’s nothing in the rulebook that says I can’t be friends with a woman. And I won’t lie—my new classmate Demi Davis is one cool chick. Her smart mouth is hot as hell, and so is the rest of her, but the fact that she’s got a boyfriend eliminates the temptation to touch her. Except three months into our friendship, Demi is single and looking for a rebound. And she’s making a play for me. Avoiding her is impossible. We’re paired up on a yearlong school project, but I’m confident I can resist her. We’d never work, anyway. Our backgrounds are too different, our goals aren’t aligned, and her parents hate my guts. Hooking up is a very bad idea. Now I just have to convince my body—and my heart.

Book excerpt: Nick Somebody once said we don't decide who we love. The world decides for us. But I disagree. I believe love is a decision. Who we love, how we love. It's in our control--in our hands. I grew up having no clue about the true meaning of love. Money. Cars. Houses. Status. Fame. That's what love means to the people around me. It wasn't until the woman I picked up in a bar came back into my life and showed me love can be so much more. So, what's the problem? The woman I'm falling in love with believes in fairytales. She compares everything to a storybook and wants the happily-ever-after. So while she's stuck on recreating stories that have already been told, page by page, I'm showing her it's time we write our own book. Nobody ever said the journey of falling in love would be easy, just that it would be worth it.
