La loi de comportement des BHP en compression a t tablie exp rimentalement puis mod lis e. Le module d' lasticit a t mod lis en consid rant le BHP comme un mat riau diphasique (mortier et gros granulat. La durabilit des BHP a t tudi e dans solution de 20% de sulfate d'ammonium. Aucune d gradation importante n'est intervenue apr s plusieurs cycles de corrosion.

Une résistance caractéristique en compression supérieure à 1 00 MPa est visée. Dans l'étude de formulation, deux points ont été principalement abordés : la nécessité de matériaux ultrafins et la nature des adjuvants. Les investigations menées (analyse granulométrie laser, rhéologie, calorimétrie, mesure des retraits, Analyse Thermique Différentielle (ATD), porosimétrie au mercure, observation au Microscope Electronique à Balayage (MEB) et essai de perméabilité à l'eau) ont permis de montrer que les propriétés des BHP variaient d'une ultrafine à l'autre et que ces différences étaient essentiellement liées à leurs propriétés physico-chirniques. La loi de comportement des BHP en compression pure a été établie expérimentalement , puis modélisée. Le module d'élasticité a été modélisé en considérant le BHP comme un matériau diphasique (mortier et gros granulat). L'apport des fibres (acier ou polyvinylalcool) a été quantifié. La durabilité des BHP a été étudiée dans un milieu très agressif : une solution de 20% de sulfate d'ammonium. Aucune dégradation importante n'est intervenue après plusieurs cycles de corrosion

Since it was founded in 1906, the Ernst & Sohn "Beton-Kalender" has been supporting developments in reinforced and prestressed concrete. Ultra high performance concrete (UHPC) is a milestone in concrete technology and application. Various aspects and applications of this process are described in the six chapters of this book. Chapter One addresses the reduction and oxidation of heavy metals by the photocatalytic process to produce less toxic forms, thus reducing pollution. Chapter Two reviews some issues of photocatalytic reactions which may have been overlooked in other reports. Chapter Three deals with the utilisation of ZnO-CdO nanoblocks as adsorbent and efficient solar photocatalysts towards brilliant cresol blue degradation. Chapter Four explains heterogeneous photocatalysis through the use of titanium and tungsten oxide nanostructures. Chapter Five reports the fabrication and evaluation of TiO2 nanowires supported on graphene and sensitised with Ag in a unique hierarchical three-dimensional sandwich structure. Lastly, Chapter Six provides an overview of recent achievements in C-N bond formation reactions triggered by visible light-induced DDQ-photoredox catalysis.
