Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The BOOK" Even since the beginning of my Christian life, I have been drawn to the Book Of Revelation. It may be scary and shows God as a vengeful God, but surely He proved that in the old Testament. The problem exists the future is to be perused, believed, and acted upon by all who acknowledge a creation God and His Sacrificial Son Jesus Christ. I found that the plagues to gain God's will, will be used in the Tribulation and have been used before, in Egypt and to bring the wayward Israelites back to the fold. Please accept that you belong in a world where nothing is certain, life or death, so it is your choice to read and believe or suffer the plagues that have been PROMISED in REVELATION. And May God guides your decision. AMEN Many say I found Christ, but sometimes Christ Finds You! He found me sitting in the gutter bemoaning a flat tire on the car. He sent a servant that I knew but was unaware he was a Christian. He invited me to go home shower, dress, and meet him for Church that evening. That was the start of my seventy, odd years in Christian Service. A word or two at the right time and in the right place can add years of service to the Lord Jesus Christ. What have those years enjoyed, preaching- three states, volunteer with faith organizations, founding health and pain organizations advisory to sporting and community groups, all stemming from one person's invitation. GO AND DO LIKEWISE!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: To whomever may read this book: I started a study of Revelation several years ago. The reason for starting this study was to try and understand the last book of the Bible. So many had told me that Revelation was full of mysteries and difficult to understand. I searched for something that would guide me, make me think about each verse and how each passage applies to my life now and how it could in the future. My great uncle had written a book many years ago that had been passed down through my family to me. I used his book as my guide for my quest. But, as I got into the study I began writing down additional verses, thoughts and life applications. Also, trying to relate to what we know as everyday life today to what must of seemed so foreign to John. All that said this book was put together with much prayer and godly guidance to provide assistance in studying Revelation. I hope it will help someone not only understand Revelation, but prompt thoughts and discussions. Most of all I hope this book might inspire to spread the gospel before it is too late and possibly help someone find their way to Christ.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Layman’s Commentary on Revelation traces a journey through the vision John records in the Bible’s last book. Along the way, questions about this world’s end, God’s judgment of all people, and His promises of new life in the kingdom find their answers in Revelation’s visions of drama, worship, and the apocalypse. Author Don E. Jones brings more than five decades of experience in preaching and teaching the Bible to his commentary, presenting a close reading of the biblical text, the insights of noted Bible scholars, and the answers to questions that often arise when individuals encounter the world of Revelation. This guide describes the overarching narrative of Revelation as a seven-act drama. Along the way, treating each passage in turn, the commentary offers Revelation’s answers to challenging questions: • What will happen when the world ends? • Who is the anti-Christ? • When is the Second Coming? • What will God’s judgment look like? To provide addition assistance, four charts and four appendices present supplementary information on the book of Daniel and its vision of the end times. If you wonder how to make sense of Revelation, find yourself puzzled by its strange imagery, or seek answers to the ultimate questions of life, then A Layman’s Commentary on Revelation can guide you through the pages of John’s vision. It takes your searching questions and God’s answers seriously, giving both attention in light of the cosmic drama John shares with Christians of all ages.

Towns, cofounder of Liberty University, Lynchburg, Virginia “With members of almost every congregation curious about what on earth the book of Revelation means and how it can be understood, to have so few resources to place in the hands of our people is appalling. Chapters 6""19 deal with events on earth in detail, such as the significance of the seventy weeks and the beginning of the Tribulation period. In chapter 1:3, it states: "Blessed is he that 1) readeth, and they that 2) hear the words of this prophecy, and 3) keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." The blessing of verse 3 has a threefold condition: 1) read the book, 2) hear (understand) it; and 3) keep (obey) it. The essential nature of prophecy was the communication of new truth (divine revelation). God has given it to be obeyed, not simply to be discussed and debated. The time is at hand in the sense that nothing else now has to occur before the Rapture and the beginning of the Tribulation period (1 Thess. 4:13""18), same as Rev. 4:1.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Revelations About Revelation was born of a Pastor's heart for laypeople, to help them understand a book of the Bible which has been grossly misinterpreted for ages by many preachers and Bible teachers. The author seeks to explain as simply as possible what the Apostle John was actually expressing to people of his own time, in the context of the circumstances they were facing, to help them stand firm for Jesus in the face of persecution. Too many times, Revelation has been presented as some horrifying prediction of the future, when John plainly states that he was sharing with the Church in his own time "the tribulation and the Kingdom and the patient endurance" (Revelation 1:9). He was not speaking of some far-off future tribulation, but the one they were facing at the end of the First Century AD, which has continued to this day and will continue in one form or another, in varying degrees of ferocity, until Christ returns. The author of the present work first preached through Revelation for the two congregations he was serving in 1985. He felt the need to pass this message along to more people than would ever hear him preach, so he began putting it all together in a book in 1987. After a busy life of ministry, other work, and public service, approaching retirement, he was finally able to edit and complete the basic manuscript and prepare it for publication, which he hopes will be helpful to the reader in understanding the strange images of Revelation that those who read may draw strength from the witness of John in difficult times and find courage to stand strong for Christ in any and all circumstances. Glory be to God!

Book excerpt: Christ is the central figure in the book of Revelation and as such His supremacy is the theme. He is the one who is the source of the book (Rev. 1:1) and thus it is called "the Revelation of Jesus Christ." Before unfolding end time events, a magnificent self revelation of Jesus Christ is presented (Rev. 1:12-18). He is supreme in the churches and the destiny of the church is in His hand. He is the head of the church and holds it in His hand (Rev. 2:1). He is the Alpha and Omega, implying His eternality (Rev. 1:8, 11; 21:6; 22:13). He is the Lion of the tribe of Judah (Rev. 5:5), thus by virtue of His birth in the tribe of Judah, He has the right to the throne of David.
