Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book comes as your ticket to a virtual vacation, inviting you to dive into the heart of the tropical island of Kaua`i, Hawai`i, U.S.A. Please come, especially if you are a “capital ‘T’ Traveler” who digs deeper than surface pleasures of a new place, connects with people of the land, and celebrates differences as well as similarities. You may explore from front to back, vice-versa, or spot-read whatever pages fall open to your touch. All will be right. By accepting the author’s invitation, you’re assured of eventual enjoyment of thought-provoking segments categorized as “Outdoor Discoveries,” “Island Celebrations,” “Eyes to Sky, & Sea,” “Umbilical Ties” and more, including a drink from “The Water of Life.” Kaua`i island could be considered your adventure to “Anyplace, World.” Aside from particularities of discoverers and settlement, the foundational needs and desires of all peoples of the world hold true: A homeland–a place of freedom and peace; a place to work and sustain a healthy life, to play and recreate; a safe place to raise and educate children; a place to protect, preserve, love and pass forward to coming generations. The time span covered draws from the onset of swift modern development and increased tourism that threatens a cherished lifestyle to the threshold of COVID-19. The Afterword deals with the isolation the life-threatening pandemic imposes, and the economic and emotional challenges that stem from an isolation severely underlined when an island home already lies as a far speck within the wide Pacific Ocean. The guiding mantra throughout–”Believe in the Unexpected!”–from the author’s “Green Flash” experience shared with her “Dear Readers,” holds truer than true as we move with hope and courage into our globally-connected future.

Book Synopsis The Rainbow Covenant by : Richard Hoffman
Download or read book The Rainbow Covenant written by Richard Hoffman and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2020-06-18 with total page 190 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All of God's physical Creation reflects a higher spiritual Reality. In that Creation, light is synonymous with Truth or God; who is the source of Truth. It should surprise no one that when you unwrap light to find the Rainbow, the Rainbow gives a detailed account of what God is all about. He is about loving and saving mankind by wooing them into the Rainbow Covenant of Marriage. From the red blood sacrifice of the Gospel Truth of Jesus, to the purple royalty of the Holy Spirit; God's constant and repeated message is that there is only one way to attain the purple royalty that is God's. That way is through faith in the red blood sacrifice of Jesus as the propitiation for our sins. He is the only gate or door into the Rainbow Covenant. We are all spiritual Cinderella's, enslaved to the 3 evil stepsisters of the world, the flesh and the Devil. But the Prince can raise us up out of the ashes and into the beauty of a royal mansion. There is another option, however. We can reject God's suit and pursue a life of self-will. We know that marriage means the death of self-will. This book describes the Dark Path of Separation from God that is the shadow opposite of the Rainbow Covenant of Marriage. Cain was the first to tread this path to its bitter end; which for mankind in this Age of Engagement, is incontrovertible sentencing or engagement to separation from God in the Lake of Fire. But it is God's will that all be saved. There's more than enough room in the lifeboat that I choose to call, "The Rainbow Covenant".

The Nee-Me-Poo led pursuing troops on a four-month, 1,100-mile chase that ended tragically only forty miles short of Canada.
