Nowadays, strengthening concrete columns with GFRP (Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymer) reinforcement is one of the most widely used methods.In this study, the lateral load capacity of reinforced concrete rectangular columns strengthened with GFRP rebars wrapped with CFRP (Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer) sheets was evaluated using finite element analysis. The results showed that FRP fibers can improve the performance of reinforced concrete columns.
